Made of 18/8 polished stainless, it can sit on your counter or prep area and still look attractive. It also fits easily under a sink, too. The lid features holes for aeration and inside contains a charcoal filter to eliminate odor (replace filter every 3-6 months). It's a great way to recycle and turn your green thumb even greener. Pail holds 1-gallon of compost.

I gave this as a gift and it was intended to replace a far less attractive container for composting. I was pleased with the looks of the pail and that it contained filters. I'll likely be purchasing one for myself as I get closer to planning my home garden.

I am completely satisftied with this product. There is no odor while under the cabinet. looks good too!
