We have owned manual carpet and floor sweepers before. We knew what NOT to buy. We also own two fantastic electric vacuums but needed something lightweight to pick up puppy fuzz (as our young Golden is shedding heavily), without having to bring out the big guns for a small job.

In our Naples, Florida home we have tile floors along with carpeting. The unit was purchased primarily for the tile floors. It works great and picks up the puppy fuzz and any loose crumbs around her food dish. Works great on carpet as well. It is perfect for what we needed it to do.

As far as manual sweepers go, I researched them and found this to be among the best, if not the best, and bought it. It is great and does the small jobs just as we wanted and expected. And it is priced right!

Really Cool! It picks up pet hair and dirt really well, and cleans up easliy too!

A product that is not up to par

I must say that I was disappointed in this carpet sweeper. I have used the sweeper in both my home and my store, and find that it to be very inefficient. I have to sweep over the same area several times, and adjusting the height for carpet or floor makes little difference. Unfortunately, mine has already been retired to the basement.

Light in weight and very convenient. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs and it does a very good job removing the hair on my oriental rugs as well as picking up the crumbs from the dog treats. It is great for quick daily cleanups -- you don't have to drag out the vacuum and deal with the weight and the cord. I do find it more efficient on the rugs than on the wood or tile. However, I am pleased with it and my house looks much cleaner since it arrived.

Excellent product, well made from a German manufacturer. Keeping in mind what it is, and what it should do, it does a great job with quick dirt pick up. If you're looking for the best carpet sweeper, I would recommend this heartily.
