I was pleasantly surprised at the sturdiness of the construction. It's a fairly hefty gauge metal construction with a durable surface. I've used it a fair number of times and it disassembles quite easily to clean. I have washed mine after every use in the sink and air dried it before storing it in the included zippered bag. It handled 3 one pound ribeye steaks at a time with just 15 charcoal briquettes providing the heat. Overall, quite pleased with the purchase.

Mine wasn't as pictured. It isn't all metallic as the picture would indicate. Painted plack which wouldn't be aproblem, except it emits a chemical burning obnoxious odor when you have charcoal lit in it. Returned.

I purchased this grill for the times I was cooking just for myself, and didn't want to fire up the full size grill. Works great for this purpose. I would recommend it and even buy a second one.
