The Product itself works very good. With a little non-cook spray it does not stick and the little disks fit perfectly in the bottom. The only issue I had is that they rusted almost instantly. So after we scrubbed the rust off we now make sure that they do not soak in water and that they are dried immediately. I looked on the box but it doesn't say what the pans are made of. I thought they were aluminum but now i'm assuming tin. Other than that they made very nice little cheesecakes and I was glad that I bought them.

great mini pans

They worked out very well and am glad I got 2 of them. Should have bought a third and then my original New York style cheesecake recipe would have been done quickly. I had cheesecakes baked in 15 min. They freeze well so we do not have to feel we have to eat the entire cheesecake in one week.

I am a pastry chef and caterer and I think that this is a great alternative to a standard cheesecake pan. My customers love having individual servings. Removal can be a bit tricky at first until you get the hang of it. Be sure to chill the cheesecakes completely before attempting. I purchased a similar pan from a well known cooking store and it cost $10 more. Great product at a great price.

This is GREAT!

When I ordered this, I did not realize that it had the bottom inserts. They make it just like a regular cheesecake pan, just a dozen minitures. I fixed mini strawberry/blueberry cheesecakes and took them to a party. Everyone loved them! Not only are they easy to prepare but they also come out

I would have liked the mini's to be a bit smaller. Also it is not as easy as you might think getting the cheesecake out of the pan by pushing up. It will take a little getting used to for me, however I can see using it for upcoming parties.

Buy multiples

I bought two and wished I had bought three. My standard cheesecake recipe would have easily made 36. Made minis for a Thankgiving party and they were quite the hit. All the ladies wanted to know how I managed to make those cute little cheesecakes. Adapted easily to my recipe, cook time was about 20 minutes.

I tried this pan and really enjoyed it. It was easy to use and the cheesecakes came out easily without a mess. I gave it a four because I'm not one for giving perfect scores and I haven't had it that long to know if it wears well!

No matter how much I greased the pans the cheesecakes stuck and couldn't be used. They were for samples for my business but they wasted money.

Wonderful product

I purchased 2 of these cheesecakes pans in order to prepare a large amount for a special church dinner. Couldn't have done it without this product! I read previous reviews and was concerned about the cheesecakes sticking so I lightly sprayed the pans with spray oil and had absolutely no problems. You really must let them cool in the pans before removing though. Also had no problems with the cakes cracking, etc. They are so cute and so delicious. Can't wait to make more. Great product!

I have used muffin pan ,regular and min, for cheesecakes but the sides were slanted and needed liners. It seems that family and party occassions like bite size desserts. This pan made beautiful cheesecakes. I use a professional cheese cake recipe , divided it and added different flavoring and toppings. I also make my own graham crackers for the crust.

Cheesecake pan

by Josenni, NY
April 7, 2010

I just started a new business of making mini-cheesecake cups and this pan really helps. One of the downside is it's heavy, the other, it's tedious to clean. Although, what would be nice is for the bottom part to cover 1/8th of the cup...

Cheesecakes do tend to stick a little on the sides.

I ordered this product as I couldn.'t find anything in NYC and was extremely happy with the pans after I used them. I thought that the size was a little too large so I filled them about 1/2 way up and the size was perfect for 2 bites. A bit difficult to take the cakes out, I found that putting the pan over the counter edge and pushing them up and gently holding the cakes worked well. Cleanup was great...I would greatly recommend these pans to all!

Absolutely love it. So many possibilities for entertaining. I love to bake and freeze and this is the perfect size to defrost for 1 or 2 people without defrosting a whole cake.

I ordered two separate sets of these. The first set had very small holes in the bottom and required a wooden spoon handle to remove the cheesecakes from it. The second set I ordered had much larger holes and the cakes were easily removed by just pushing up on them with my finger. They clean up pretty well too.
