The nonstick surface of our muffin (or cupcake) pan makes paper baking cups optional and cleanup easy. Cleanup is more of a consideration in a muffin pan than many other bakeware pieces since it is really twelve little pans in one - if you choose only one pan with nonstick, let it be the muffin pan. For even heating and browning, the pan is made of heavy weight carbon steel. Not just for sweets, a muffin pan may also be used for mini-quiches or rolls.

Farberware Muffin Pan

I like Farberware Products and have several of their pans. I have used this one twice so far and it is truly non-stick and evenly bakes.

Feel durable and heavy ~ not flimsy. So far, I love them! My daughter left my old pans in the sink soaking overnight ~ EEEK! So, new pans were in order. These are SO much nicer than the Ecko pans I have had for years ... feel much sturdier!

The muffin pan being of a non stick surface made the muffins easy to be removed, the pan also made good cupcakes.

I like this pan... it does the job and is very lightweight. So lightweight, that it somehow bent. But, it was easy to bend back in place. I would reccomend this pan for now... but I don't think it will hold up as long as other sturdier pans.
