We've had this coffeemaker before, but when it quit working we tried another brand. Big mistake! Nothing equals the quality and ease of use of this product. The coffee stays hot for hours and the pot is easy to hold and holds 12 cups. Will not buy a different brand again.

A full-sized stainless steel thermal caraf

Finally, a thermal caraf stainless steel coffee maker that really makes 12 cups of great coffee! The reservoir at the back is very large and easily filled. The coffee is very hot and perfectly brewed each time and stays good and hot for hours. The pouring spout has made it almost spill proof and very convienent. I hope to get many years of use out of this coffee maker.

Durable and long lasting, worth the money!

We have had one like this for 7 years and use it for 8-10 cups daily. It still works great but I ordered a new one in case I can't find one when this one finally dies! Very durable.

Large Capacity, not much else

Water level indicator is only readable from the side. There is no way to disable the "beep" when the pot is finished brewing. The lid to the pot is tricky to engage. the lid that covers resevoir and coffee basket does NOT cover the basket completely.

I like my coffee maker a lot. I like when it tells me its done.

Just wish it was a way to tell me how much water is in the pot when I fill with water to brew the coffee, I hate guessing at it sometimes I get to much or not enough.

Maybe is't a idea for makers...what do you think....inside would work great.

defective

Water poured out of the bottom of the coffee maker as soon as I turned it on. Returned for another one. Let's hope this one works. Besides the obvious problem, this 12 cup also seemed less substantial than the 10-cup thermal carafe Cuisinart I've enjoyed for years. Like it was lesser quality.

I was hesitant.....

I needed to replace a coffee maker in our camper. I decided to give up the coffee pot (that I loved) at my home to get a good cup of coffee while camping.
The Cuisinart pot arrived ahead of it's scheduled delivery date (yay for cooking.com) and I was still hesitant to give up my existing home maker. After 2 mornings I almost had to laugh at my hesitation. I LOVE this coffee maker! The coffee is delicious and hot right to the very last cup.
I liked it so much I gave one to my boyfriend as a gift; he loves it too.
Highly recommend this coffee maker!

Coffee made easy

This coffee maker was a gift for a sister who loves her morning coffee. She enjoys the whole process and the coffee maker is easy to load, easy to use, the thermal carafe really does its job and the coffee is just tasty!

So far, so good. Coffee tastes good.

Another Great Cuisinart Product

This is our second Coffee Pot for this model. The lid to the carafe failed on the first pot after 5 years of making at least two pots a day every day. Highly recommended.

The thermos like stainless steel carafe keeps the coffee hot for a good number of hours. It's good that we don't have to keep a warmer on as with glass carafe.

the carafe wooks well but that is it

I used the cuisinart 3 times before the electornics shorted out, The coffee maker went tothe dump but it kept the thermal carafe. It really keeps coffee warm for 8 hours. I replaced the coffee maker with a $20 Mr. Coffee. I pour the newly brewed coffee from Mr Coffee into the Cuisinart carafe and enjoy fresh and warm coffee all day. Purchase the carafe not the coffee maker.

excellent coffee maker

this is the second time i have bought this machine, i really like it because it keeps coffee hot for hours without giving it that burnt taste,plus the automatic shut off is perfect ,just make your coffee,turn it on and leave it dont have to think if you turned pot off or not if you leave home oh yeah, makes great tasing coffee

Not user-friendly

The basket is very awkwardly designed. Not good when trying to make coffee in the early a.m. The top to the carafe is also poorly designed, is difficult to operate, and the gasket falls off.

Disappointed

When my cuisinart grind n'brew died I decided to stick with the same brand since I thought I could count on the durability. I am disappointed with the coffee maker because the basket for the filter doesn't fit into place properly for brewing. I had one over flow because of it. It's a very simple thing for it to snap in place which is why I was very suprised to have it not fit properly on such an expensive coffee maker. On the up side the carafe does keep the coffee hot for a good couple hours which is why I bought it.

Great Coffee

This coffeemaker does a very good job on small pots as well as for the whole 12 cups. I like that it has a timer to program for morning starts and it also has a great feature I have never had before...a beeper to let me know when the coffee is done. It has a much better caraffe than my old one. This one pours nicely with no drips or spills.

This is second one we have purchased

It's difficult to find a coffee pot that doesn't have the grind feature to it - we prefer to do ours separately. This is the second one we have purchased as we used the other one so much for three years that we needed a new one. Actually this is the third one we have purchased as we got a second one for our lake house.

Finally a 12 cup thermal pot

When I saw Cuisinart's 12 cup programmable I had to buy it. This is the first time I have purchased a Cuisinart coffee pot and I must say, it is fantastic.

I love the that you don't have to twist the top to pour and the coffee is hot for hours, much longer than my other thermal pot. I noticed immediately that my coffee tasted better too.
