Very sturdy skillet

I just recently received my cast-iron skillet, so I haven't used it yet. I did season it and must say that it seems very sturdy and durable. I am looking forward to many years of use. I haven't had a cast-iron skillet in a long time and couldn't wait to finally get this!

This skillet is fantastic. The 12" size is perfect. It reminds me of my grandmothers skillets. It did come pre-seasoned as stated, but I seasoned it again, just once. It is perfect now. It is already non-stick. Normally you would have to seaon it many times to reach the non-stick catagory. I know some complained that is was to heavy. Hey, it is cast iron, what did you expect! It even states it's weight in the specs, which you can read before you purchase. I would recommend this to anyone who love skillets, and wants the best cookware. Well this is it!!!!!

This was an excellent choice for me...it reminds me of the cast iron skillet that my great grandmother use to cook with. Very good product.
