You read it right: If you find an item you bought with us sold for less somewhere else, we'll match the item price!

How It Works

  1. If you should find a lower advertised price on an in-stock, identical item from one you purchased from us, you can submit a Price Match request up to 14 days after your purchase.
  2. Forward your order confirmation email or send an email to support@cooking.com and include a link to the retailer's website promotion with the lower price. Please include "Price Match" in the subject line of the email.
  3. Once approved, the price match will be calculated and refunded based on the item price. (Note that some exclusions may apply to keep things on the up and up.)

Lighting charcoal briquettes is often a time-consuming process. Skip the lighter fluid and use the Steven Raichlen 12-in. Chimney Starter to light your briquettes easily and safely. Add a few crumpled sheets of newspaper to the chimney's lower chamber, and then pour charcoal into the upper chamber. Light the newspaper, and wait about 20 minutes for the charcoal to reach the proper temperature. The chimney forces heat up from the bottom at an even rate so all the briquettes are ready at the same time, giving you even heat distribution. Tall sides keep burning embers inside the chimney, and a sturdy wooden handle gives you a secure grip. When it is time to pour the lighted charcoal into the grill, flip up the grab bar and use it to help support the chimney as you hold it. The chimney's square corners allow you to push the hot briquettes around to fit your grill. Best Used For: Pack the chimney with your tailgate or picnic supplies to ensure you can get your grill going, even in windy conditions. The chimney holds enough charcoal to cook for a crowd, but you can adjust the number of briquettes to accommodate a smaller grill or less food. Features:
