The pan cooks evenly. However, I have a glass cooktoop and the pan is slighty rounded on the bottom which causes it to "rock" slightly.

Love my new pan!

I bought this pan to have something in between my large Caphalon wok & skillet and this is perfect. The clear lid is a great thing to have. The only thing that is weird is that the lid makes a popping noise when heated - not loud, but just know that it is going to happen.
As a chef by trade, I use this pan 4 - 5 times/week and it is good for so many different recipes. It is definitely a great value - would highly recommend.

I love calphalon products and esp. this pan. I use it at least daily and often twice in the same day. It's the perfect size, looks good enough to serve from and it cooks beautifully. Clean-up is always easy. I bought a second pan for my daughter.

I bought this as a gift. It is almost identical to one I bought for myself several years ago from cooking.com. Since I got my pan, I rarely use any others. This is my main pan for cooking everyday meals. I have another large stockpot for pasta dinners, and a medium saucepan, but this is great for chili, taco meat, sauteed meats, stews, braised meat, etc. I love it. Great value, too!

Glass lid and double handle are bonuses. Just the right size when cooking for four. Perfect for serving right at the table. Elegant. Always a compliment getter.

I really wanted a deeper pan that would be more of an all around everyday pan. I don't feel that it fits my needs for the price that was paid.

I just received the pan last Friday, thus have had a chance to use it only twice. Seems to be what I expected and so far I am pleased. The shipping took over 3 weeks, which seemed excessive. This was a shipping saver and was the postal service's problem. I've never had anything take that long and often use the shipping savers when available.

Item received with scratches on pan, but otherwise it is a great product...

I have only had this "Every Day" pan for a short time but I have used it almost daily.
It is lightweight, cleans easily and has been more than satisfactory. Though it is not a replacement for my old, seasoned iron skillets for cooking meats that require searing, it is wonderful for sauteing and sauce making. I keep it out on my gas cook top as I use it so frequently. I really appreciate being able to move it about easily in and out of the oven. I am elderly but I still cook daily for my family and frequent guests so I really appreciate the fact that it is easy to lift and is so versatile.

I have a 10 in everyday pan and a 12 in chef's skillet and it seems to be up to the level of performance I've come to expect of calphalon products. My only gripe is that it is not the same heavy duty quality as the other 2 pans. I got the 12 in everyday pan cause the 10 in just wasn't large enough for my cooking needs and the 12 in chefs skillet handle is so long it doesn't fit into my oven. I noticed in writing this that the 12 in skillet is a One Nonstick and the 12 in everyday is a Comtemporary. Not sure what the 10 in everyday is, I suspect a One Nonstick also. So be warned to look closely at which line you get so you won't be disappointed. All in all I do believe I'll be getting years of cooking pleasure out of this. Thanks, John

it's just the right size

The only flaw is that we wish it was just a little bit heavier weight - but it's still nice. Use it just about every day

Read & follow the "USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS" for best performance. Lower heat settings may take longer to cook meals, but it is well worth the time. So far the pan has been a worthwhile investment.

Great Everyday Pan

This is a wonderful everyday pan. Very versatile and of course easy to clean. I love it. Makes cooking fun.

I love this pan, and I especially love that it has a lid on it. It's not easy finding 12 inch pans with lids. Everything I make in it turns out great!

Fabulous Pan

I enjoy cooking for family and friends. This pan is just the right size for so many foods. I use it almost every day. I really like having the side handles. It is so easy to lift even when it is completely full.

Wonderful Pan!

I am very pleased to own this great everyday pan. I was going to get the 10" everyday pan, but it was out of stock, so I decided to go for the 12" instead of waiting for the 10". Now I'm so, so glad I got the bigger one. It is great for everything from frying fish and chicken to making a large pan of Shrimp Jambalaya, which I made in it. Nothing sticks and the best part is you can pop it in the oven for keeping dishes warm, or to finish up the cooking process. Just love this pan and I find myself using it EVERYDAY! It has become my favorite piece of cookware and looks very elegant on the table as well. Another great product from Food Network.

Replacement pan after 16 years

I was very hesitant to replace my original pan that was a bonus in a set of Calphalon cookware I recieved as a gift 16 years ago. My concern was that the quality would be less than I was used to. I was pleased to realize the new design is better and whatever I cook in it comes out beautifully every time. Thanks for a great product!

Good for stove top, some limits on oven use

We bought this for stove top as well as oven use, and it has been working well for stovetop dishes. Note that the non-stick surface is rated to a maximum oven temp of 450 degrees but that the instructions also state that you should not use directly under an oven broiler.

Weight and thickness of pan

I find the everyday pan that you are selling now is nice but much less sturdy than the calphalon pan that I am replacing. I hope the pan holds up.
