Calphalon clear glass lid 12"

I have 2 different 12" Calphalon pans (Calphalon One and Cooking with Calphalon) neither of which came with a lid. This lid does not fit either perfectly but does the job for both. It definitely serves its purpose and is great for the price.

Good lid

We use this lid for a variety of pans, including our Calphalon One pan and a wok. It is sturdy and easy to use. I'm not afraid of breaking it when I'm handling it, which I can't say for some of my other lids.

Lid choices

I would have liked a lid choice of a red handle to match our set.

Happy Cook

I purchased this set of 2 glass lid for my 12" & 10" Calphalon pans. They made the perfect pans even better. Price was right and they made my pans even more versatile.

Glass lids . . .

make it easy to see if what's in the pan needs attention without having to lift the lid and let the heat/steam out.

12" Glass Lid

This fits my 12" Calphon skillet perfectly. Very nice to be able to see what the food is doing inside the skillet w/o having to take the lid off. Only problem I have had is the handle gets VERY hot, and must use a potholder when handling it.

sturdy - wish it could be washed in the dishwasher without spoiling the finish.

I like being able to 'see' my food as it's cooking. Extremely well made. Fantastic price!

Worth the price...

I bought the Calphalon Nonstick 10-in and 12-in pans without lids thinking my other lids would fit well enough. They did not.

These lids fit perfectly. I like to use the pans to sear fish and then finish with white wine, scallions, and capers, poaching the fish until done. The see through lids are nice in that I can monitor the amount of liquid without lifting the lids and loosing steam.

The price is not inexpensive but I like the quality and for me they are worth the price.

These lids are a great help. They fit the pans perfectly and I'd recommend getting them.

I am glad I bought this lid for my 12 inch skillet, it fits well and you can see inside.

An Excellent Addition

Two of my non-stick skillets were close to needing replacement and not having glass lids in the past this is a welcome addition. At the sales price this is a quality bargain.

I was pleased to be able to buy just the lids, a 10" and12" set, that fit two Calphalon fying pans that I had purchased several months earlier. They fit fine and make it easier to prepare whole meal dishes all in one pan, such as pork chops and scalloped potatoes.

Nice, sturdy lid, nice design. Love the glass, which makes it so much easier to see how the food is cooking.

Glass Top

Was looking for a 12 inch glass top to fit a skillet that my son wanted. It fit just fine.
