12-inch Calphalon lid

I ordered this lid to replace the one for my favorite pan, which I dropped on my tile floor and broke into a million pieces. The lid was nice and heavy and of high quality. Unfortunately, it didn't fit my Unison pan and I had to return it. Had it fit, I definitely would have kept it.

The only problem was that it didn't fit my pan. I have looked everywhere and this is the only lid offered. I am very disappointed, even more so for the price to return!! If I need to mail the lid back for $15, and the lid only cost $19, is it worth it for the work?

Handle on lid

The only negative thing I can possibly say about this product is that the handle gets very hot when cooking, if I had known about this I would have ordered a different lid that would have fit the pan. Other than that this ia a great value for the price.

I have never been disappointed with my Calphalon purchases, This lid would make 9-10 Calphalon cookware items I've bought over the last 4-5 years and they all hold up well. This lid is sturdy and, if like my other Calphalon lids, will be durable.

12" glass lid

The 12" lid did not quite fit the 12" skillet but is usable. The broken one had a wrap on the handle and did not get too hot, this one does. This is the risk of mail order. Service was excellent!
