First time we have tried Calphalon...almost 50 years married our pots & pans were really out-dated , but, we didn't know that. After going through too many skillets of teflon, we tried Calphalon. Amazing difference and cooks so evenly. Cooking.com offered a very good deal and pleased we took them up on it. We bought the 12" and 10". Later...more pieces.

Saute pan glass lid

I love having a clear glass lid so I can see when I'm cooking. I dropped the lid that came with the pan onto my stone floor and it shattered; I was thrilled that Capholon could send me a replacement without having to buy an entire new set. The lid fits snugly and helps the food cook without losing moisture.

12 in lid.

I ordered this for the 12 inch Paula Deen fry pan I bought. The lid works ok. Why would anybody sell a frypan without a lid or an option for purchasing one. I purchased the 12 piece Paula Deen Signature stainless steel collection. It is a nice set of pans. I really like them. The only thing wrong with the set is I wish the lids had a vent hole in the glass. Sometimes my stovetop looks like a rain forest.

It was only a lid for a 12 inch pan, but it's great. Although I don't understand why a pan didn't come with a lid. However we have always been happy with Calphalon products.
