Absolutely love this and don't know why we lived with the bulky stand grater for all these years. This is great for zesting and for shaving cheese over dishes. This has become our "love to use on everything we can" kitchen tool.

I've had this model for years, plus a larger one for parmesan, etc. I bought this one for my Japanese DIL, who is a wonderful cook, after she admired mine when she was here on a visit. I can't imagine a functional kitchen without a Microplane!

It cleans very easily by running it under water. It also is made of stainless steel so it is a quality product.
It performs well, cleans easily, and is a quality product. Everything I wanted. It is a bit pricey, but I feel it is worth every penny and will give me years of service.
I highly recommend the zester.
I recently bought this because a friend who often comes and cooks with me always brought one with her. I have been using a standard cheese grater for years and rarely used a zester. This tool does a terrific job at grating hard cheese and at zesting. My friend can finally just bring herself when we cook together!

When more and more program hosts started using the Microplane Zester/Graters I had been trying to find one. Finally my brain kicked in and I checked the Food Network Store.
