From their Professional Nonstick II line, the heavy-gauge, all aluminum pan has a raised, grooved cooking surface so the fats and oils simply drain away from your burgers, poultry and fish as they cook. And for easy clean up, the interior's cooking surface is treated with a nonstick material. The multi-riveted, Cool Touch arch-vent handle pulls the heat through and away from the pan keeping it cool so long as it's on the stovetop.

Note: Not intended for induction, ceramic, and glass cooktop surfaces. Because of the pan's raised, grooved cooking surface, the bottom portion is not entirely flat and will not lie flush against your stovetop surface, preventing the heat from penetrating all of your food.

I have a smooth top stove and the pan does not have a flat bottom.

Was not prepared ro the fact that this pan unlike other Caphalon pans does not have a smooth bottom. It is entirely useless to me as I have a smooth cooktop. Also this is much lighter weight than my other Caphalon pans.

RETURNED IT

I received this and there was no "Calphalon" markings on the pan OR the box. Plus the fact that it is lighter and flimsier than my other Calphalon pans and this one is marked "Made In China" made me return this item. I have many Calphalon pans and they have "Calphalon" clearly marked on them and are made in the USA. I am not sure if this item is an authentic Calphalon item. I asked for and received a prepaid return shipping label from cooking.com. I have never had any issues with any other items I have purchased from cooking.com and was satisfied with its customer service. Just don't recommend purchasing this pan. I bought a Calphalon grill pan (clearly marked as such and made in the USA) for only a few dollars more and it is much sturdier.

Nice Nonstick Grill Pan

This is a good size grill pan. I can use my 9" square grill press in it and put it in the oven because of the metal handle. Very easy cleanup too. Shipping was faster than I expected.
