Great Gift
I gave this grill pan as a holiday gift. My daughter really loved getting it and hopefully she will also enjoy using it.

This nonstick Calphalon pan will be great for cooking items like fish, chicken or bacon & juices will run off below...I've recently gone back to cooking with gas & it is wonderful to have this pan!

It's a nice one, but clearly NOT to Calphalon's standard of build quality. Oh, it's all there as described except that it is nat branded as Calphalon and for good reason. I feel it's worth the money. I just feel I would have felt better with the purooking!chase had I known. The quality just isn't there. Again, it's decent, worth the money and I hope to get many years of careful use out of it. Just buy informed and wisely. Happy cooking!

Yes I like Calphalon products; and I like the Grill pans, I've had a few and have a few from other brands, too.
The non-stick is a durable surface, and I've never had one self-remove like some older Teflon surfaces, but 100% non-stick it is NOT.
I bought this one for my brother who is on his third or fourth pan - he swears by the things. But cook on too high a heat, and the oils tend to patina the surface. Also, the "crease" where the ribs meet the pan tend to the unclean-able. Although I have not invested in a high-priced non-abrasive pan cleaning scrub, I'm told it removes the blackened bits on the pan. But then, that isn't really Non-stick in my book.
Also, I was a bit put off that this particular pan is made in CHINA, and comes in a white-box, not retail. I never thought that I was buying a second or a knock-off until I received it. My other "C-pans" are made in Toledo, Ohio anyways.
