Just like the one Grandma used, this skillet performs exceptionally well with its cast iron construction that heats evenly then retains the heat all through the cooking process. Use the skillet for cooking eggs, hashbrowns or fried chicken. This skillet is particularly nice because it's already seasoned and ready-to-use once you get it. It's coated with a special vegetable oil formula that's been baked-on in a very hot industrial oven. The high temperature allows the oil to penetrate deeply into the cast iron surface creating that prized heirloom finish, saving you the time and effort of doing it on your own.

I really like the cast iron pan. They keep an even heat and frying chicken in them is the best. I just got an rv and looking forward to doing some cooking outside with my cast iron.

The handle is not the proper size for the pan. Can't really get a good grip. Otherwise the skillet is good.

I bought this cast iron skillet for my husband, who has been wanting one for awhile. I was going to get the smaller one, and ended up opting for this, the larger. It's a good size, and great piece to add to the kitchen. Versatile and reliable. Great quality!

This cast iron skillet is a great buy. Price is right and it does the job nicely. I have always wanted a cast iron skillet and I am so glad this is the one I chose!
