This pan is well built and I think it will last forever. This is the first "really good" pan I have invested in, and I was not disappointed. My only slight complaints are that it is very heavy and therefore a little difficult to maneuver, and the handle on the lid does get very hot, despite the rubber coating. However, I got it for over 50% off the list price, and for that price I think it was well worth the investment.

Love this pan, as well as all of my Calpholan products. I was a little dissapointed that the handle design was not the same as the rest of my Simply Calpholan set, however I am very pleased!

Excellent Pan

Very nice pan that heats evenly and is easy to clean. Over resisted at 400 degrees makes this pan even more attractive. Got it at a nice sale price through Food Network. Worth every dollar.

Great omlette pan!

I actually bought the 8inch, this 12 inch, and the jumbo fryer...All came with lids, which you never get if buying in the local home stores. When I saw these all online, on sale, with free shipping, I finally had a great reason to throw out all my mismatched, crappy frying pans. I love them all! Easy to clean, great weight, and the jumbo has the opposing handle to carry. They heat evenly, and cooking with them is so much better. You won't know how horrible the pans you have are until you use these...love em...

Pan arrived quickly, and from the first use has been a very good purchase.

Non-stick surface smooth & clean, only need to use oils or fats for flavor & finish ... not needed for fat-free cooking.

Good handle, very sturdy, and well designed.

Good exterior finish, and the clear glass top fits very well, is well constructed, and makes keeping an eye on things so much easier and efficient.

Will use cooking.com com again, and would recommend this pan for all except a busy professional kitchen.

The 12-in omelette pan by Calphalon does not have the weight of other fry pans/skilletts/omelette pans by the same maker. I prefer my pans to have some heft. This one did not cook the food well. It would have been better if we had been told that the omelette pan was lighter than others by Caphalon. I would not have bought it. I will return the pan because otherwise it is taking up valuable space in the kitchen. Next time I will know to beware of the designation "Simple Calphalon ".

This is a great pan. I got it to match my set, for my son to make his morning eggs on. We are very happy with this choice.

Decent pan

I bought this omelet pan pan to use as a fry pan for eggs and other things that stick. It has a lid, which I think may be it's best feature. Otherwise, the pan is light for its size, but easy to handle.

Perfect, just what I needed!

This is supposed to be an omelette pan but it's so much more and a perfect companion to the eight inch omelette pan I've been using for a very long time.

This product is all that I hoped it would be. Materials of construction allow for easy regulation of cooking temperature, and the shape of the pan is perfect for omelet prep--broad and shallow. Another winner from Calphalon.

Great Omelette Pan!

This Omelette Pan is Fantastic! It not only functions as a great omelette pan, but it also works well for preparing many other dishes. Using the domed glass lid with the pan, recipes that need simmering come out absolutely wonderful! This pan is so great, I wish I would have purchased two of them!
