Was excited to see this jumbo fryer, fried chicken right? I had even bought one for our daughter. I washed mine, wiped it dry then placed it on my burner. As it warmed I noticed the front part of the pan rose. It actually was no longer a level cooking service. Sadly I tested my daughters pan. Same event. Had to return them. I have never had anything like this happen with products from Food Network.

My only concern is that this skillet is not nearly as heavy as previous Caphlon items I have purchased before. I hope it holds up as long as my previous skillets.

Secondly, we like it enough to have given it to each of our children. They like it. Keep that size. It is a good one for so many things.

It is large and looks very heavy but it isn't heavy and is easy to clean with minimal scrubbing (no harsh chemicals---period!)

With handles on both sides, it is easy to carry to the table and looks nice enough to use there, even with guests. A great all-around pan and large enough to make a main course for 6 (I had 8 larger roasted chicken thighs in a lemon and basil sauce and there was plenty of room).
