I've sampled and returned a few slicers trying to find one large enough and smooth enough to make it worth adding to my knife collection. This is the one and Wow is it ever so precise and works wonders at slicing meat, bread, fruit....I sliced a watermelon into cubes in about a minute.

I don't use it a lot, but I am so glad I have it when needed. It surpasses the thicker shorter blades on my other knives, especially when slicing meats thinly such as corned beef,and roast bef for sammies.
