This knife is perfect for carving large roasts, hams, poultry or just about anything that requires a long blade. It's got a terrific edge that slices right through the meat with minimal effort. The handle fits nicely in the hand and has good counter weight to the blade for nice even slices. I bought one for my brother as well, and he loves it too!

I don't use it a lot, but I am so glad I have it when needed. It surpasses the thicker shorter blades on my other knives, especially when slicing meats thinly such as corned beef,and roast bef for sammies.
