AWESOME! i love my full set of Allclad copper-core and was expecting no lesser quality from the name we all respect. still, i was so pleasantly surprised (maby even giddy) when i first used this pan! first dish was fresh grilled zuchini from my garden, cooking for out of state people for the first time who thought they didn't even like zuchini. it turned out beautiful. they loved it. and they tried to steal my grill pan.
not a good buy, but a great one. BTW, this was on an electric stove which unfortunately is the only one available to me this month. Allclad helps make that bearable

A must have

A great way to get the grilled food experience when the outdoors are less accessible. Heats evenly - easy clean-up. Worth the $$.

Average quality - good but nothing special

Seems as though All Clad is trying to boost profits at the expense of quality. This pan is fine and wasn't ridiculously priced like some All Clad - some of which we paid for anyway because they used to have an edge on quality, weight or features. This pan for $50 is lighter than a lesser priced grill pan from competitors and has no real benefit over them. Shop smart and don't feel you have to own the "best" name always - there are better products for your money in many cases.

Cooks very well, producing juicy succulent meats and vegetables in record time. Even heat distribution and easy clean up. Simply a fantastic product.

A nice pan

I've had a cast iron grill pan for years but it's a pain to clean between the grooves. This pan is not only a breeze to clean but also distributes heat very well.

While this pan is teflon coated, like most better teflon pans, it's non-stick but not as easy to clean as cheap coated pans. The thicker, rougher coating is *easier* to clean, but things do not slide off like they do on a cheapy pan. This is to be expected on most any higher quality non-stick product.

I'm not sure this pan would be great for a flat cooktop as the bottom surface is also ridged and would not have full contact with a flat cooktop - I have gas and it works great.

Love my nonstick grill

Wasn't sure how I would like this grill. I used it for boneless pork chops and hamburgers. It was great. Cooked them perfectly. It was used on a smooth top range and it worked fine. This was my first All-Clad purchase. If I could afford it I would buy a whole set. This product was a great value and that is one of the reasons I chose it. It cleaned up so easy and the handle never gets hot. I would highly recommend this grill to anyone.

Yes, I like it a lot!
Chicken breast is juicy and brown - I like those grill marks on. I have a simple electric cooktop but ridges on a bottom of a pan does not make any difference - it heats up perfectly! Easy clean up too!

Best buy for the product

I live alone (but often have someone over) come home from work and just love to get the grill and throw in a steak to have for dinner. Even when I have someone over it still is great and easy to use. Cleaning is great, as well.

You are not going to taste charcoal flavor but you get good color and taste anyway. I use this pan for vegetables all the time, and for meat when a grill is not available. It is very good for chicken and fish. Beef is better on the outside grill - but when I don't have one available I'd much rather have this. Use it for vegetables for sure!

Great for apartmant living for inside grilling. Easy clean up

NonStick Grill Pan

The pan is great. It works well and is easy to clean. It is also too big for the burners on my stove, making it inefficient,and also difficult to store

The best non-stick grill pan I EVER owned. Cooking with the pan was great, but clean up was even better. For the price, you cannot find a better deal. I use this pan all the time.

Poor Quality

This pan wa advertised as made in USA and I will pay the premium proce for the USA quality. I ordered 2 and sent them back made in China and not of particularly good quality - a made in China pan of this quality should sell for 155 dollars and even at that price, I would not buy. Check out Calphalon they have a better grill pan and made in Ohio. Good old USA pride!!!! But be careful even with Calphalon, a lot of their goods are also coming from China. In addition to the human rights and environmental issues, with their lack of quality control, I just cant imagine putting food in my body that was cooked on a made in China non stick surface. No telling what all chemicals are in it.

I love this pan. It is so useful on top of and in the stove.
I wish the handle was a little wider as the pan has a tendency to turn in your hand with the thin handle.

I've only used it once but it's great so far - far superior to my old LeCreuset grill pan . Clean up is a snap and you can cook quite a bit in it.

I compared this to other grill pans in an expensive cooking supply store after I recieved it and their quality on the other brands that weren't All Clad just didn't measure up. They were too light weight to stand up to the job. Plus I recieved a much better price then in the store for any All Clad Grill.

My husband, who does all the grilling, really likes this pan. It seems to work quite well. He just ordered a Calphalon grill pan, which was rated higher by Cooks Illustrated, so we'll get to compare them. That's the reason I checked 4 above rather than 5 at this point. While we do entertain, most of our cooking is family-oriented, for the two of us. We haven't used this pan for a large group yet.
