Perfect cutlery storage for small kitchen.

With only three drawers in a kitchen and limited cupboard space in a kitchen, I have to be creative in finding and/or creating storage opportunities.

I really hated keeping knives in a drawer, but had no alternative until the day I remembered there were magnetic knife holders on the market. Thus my search began, and I found the perfect holder here at Cooking.com. It's hanging on the wall above the kitchen sink within easy reach whenever a knife is needed. My husband is equally thrilled with our new kitchen gadget.

Would I recommend this magnetic knife holder and Cooking.com as an amazing resource? Absolutely!!

Better Than Wooden Versions

We previously owned knife holders which featured magnetic bars glued onto a wooden frame. These did NOT hold up over time and eventually the bars came unglued and would come with the knife when you pulled the knife off the rack. These Henckels knife holders appear to be much sturdier. Time will tell!

very stylish; strong enough to hold the heaviest knives in our kitchen and also utensils; we had to shorten the knife holder due to our small cabinets, but it was very easy to do. After receiving the first one, we bought another one right away!

Knife Holder

What a great tool. It keeps the knives hanging in easy reach, but yet out of the way. It's so much better than storing them in a drawer, and it doesn't take up hardly any space.

The magnetic knife holder is a shining example of German engineering.

This is the third one that I have purchcased. The other two are on the wall behind my kitchen sink. They do an excellent job holding my knives and allow me to take one more thing off the kitchen counter. The magnets are strong enough to hold two cleavers with no problem. It was a little difficult to hold a carving fork, however.

This product was stroger and a better buy than the other 3 that I've purchased elsewhere.

Bought this for getting basic knives closer to my work area in the kitchen. Well made and holds knives safely and the knives release easily...good buy.

Absolutely an EXCELLENT product. Good value, quality, and look. The magnetic strength is the best I've found so far. I'm in the process of remodeling my kitchen and will definitely be back for 1 or 2 more!

Great knife holder for the knives I use every

I wasn't sure if this was going to be a great purchase, but once it was installed it is the perfect place to keep the knives that I use every day. I usually keep 5 knives on it all the time. I can have them within easy reach and have them far enough away from the main food prep area so I don't have to worry about little hands trying to grab them. (I have small grandchildren who visit) I am really happy with this, especially since I didn't have to buy another butcher block holder to hold the overflow.

I tried to mount this vertically (so the knives are horizontal) and it didnt' work very well. If I don't put the handles of my knives right next to the holder they tend to rotate so the handle faces down.

Good product, but it should be mounted horizontally so the knives hang down from it.

This knife block seems stronger than my other one though it rocks slightly when removing a knife.

Perfect size, looks great

This is a good-looking display for my knives. It also saves sooo much space in my storage-starved kitchen. I have it mounted on the backsplash directly above my stove, which makes it easily accessible, and when my hood light is on it makes my knives shine beautifully.

I love it! Great option for a crowded silverware drawer. No more digging around for knives and getting stabbed or cut. Great hold.

I lined two up over the stove and it looks great. Of course I had to go out and buy a new set of knives since they are now on display. LOL I originally purchased 3 (2 over the stove and 1 along the same wall farther down.) I may get a couple more to mount under the cabinets or inside the cabinet door.

The only trouble I had was with mounting it tight against the wall and getting the ends back on.

The Aluminum Magnetic Knife Holder by Henckels
has a very strong magnetic hold, much more than other knife holders that I have owned. The look is very modern and streamlined.
