Have used this twice, once for a skillet meal and to brown ground round. Excellent for both uses. No additional grease needed. Cleaned up easily and quickly. Well made product.

Scratches Easly

by Mark, MI
March 20, 2013

I had to send back two pans for brown stains in the non stick coating near the handle rivets. After using the pan once noticed scratches on the nonstick coating from a plastic spatula. The spatula is the same one I have been using on my cheap Tefal pan set which never caused any scratched on them.

Better than expected

This purchase replaced the same size and style Calphalon pan that the non-stick surface had worn down after several years of use. I was suprised to see that you now recommend dishwasher cleaning for these after quick prep. Also they were on sale at the time. This new pan works and looks great.

Replaced a small pan with this "giant sized" model. Can now cook more then one pancake or piece of french toast at a time. Pan heats up quickly and evenly and clean up is a snap.

It is larger than I thought it would be and is a little too large for my largest stove burner.

If I can find the eggs, I will let you know

by Randy, VA
May 9, 2012

Great pan. I love the clear top lid. It lets me view the eggs as I cook them to perfection. Nice and slow on low heat with the cover on. No need to flip them. The whites get cook too opec conditions while the yoke stays up and sunny. The eggs slipped out on me and have yet to be found, but they were so delicious. I have been rating these pans at 4 because of the deposits they leave behind. They are difficult to clean requiring a more coarse scruber than recommended by the stove top manufacturer. So far there are no scratches on the stove top from using the coarse scrubber.

Well worth the money!

by Brenda, OR
April 18, 2012

Plain and simple, I'm a cheapskate. My husband calls me "thrifty". Despite this fact, I broke down and purchased some Calphalon pans (12", 10", and 8" omelette pans with lids). Have to say, it's one of the best purchases I've ever made! This pan is fantastic! Cooks evenly, see through lid is a plus, and it cleans up so easily. Much better than traditional "non stick" pans. Take it from the cheapskate, you want these pans! I'll be buying more Calphalon pans in the future.

Easy cooking

by Carole, PA
April 14, 2012

I couldn't believe it, until I used it, that the pan actually did what it said in the advertisements. I love the pan, and especially the clean up.

Unison non-stick covered skillet by Caphalon

by Irene, NY
March 28, 2012

This skillet is a good performer. It heats up well and evenly. With a small spray of vegetable oil/ cooking spray it is really non-stick. The shape of the pan allows for easily tossing food in the pan whether with non-scratch untensils or a flick of the wrist. I liked it so much that I bought pans for my sons and got them in the two smaller sizes ( 8 and 10 inch) for myself. There is nothing better than sliding out your sunnyside eggs onto the plate. If anything sticks, just soak with Dawn Direct Foam for a few minutes and it all slides off. It comes with a see through lid, something I like so that you don't have to uncover to see the level of heat in the pan. For a purchase price of $79.99, it was an excellent deal. If not on sale now, I would wait until it goes back on sale.
