by Vicky, WI
March 8, 2010

I absolutely love using the nonstick pans by Calphalon!!! I just rec'd two from my son and daughter-in-law and then ordered the 12" from cooking.com. I still get excited when I pull my fry pans out to cook and enjoy the ease of cooking and clean up of pans!!!

12 Inch Covered Pan

by Sheila, ME
May 27, 2010

I don't feel the pan's non stick surface is as good a quality as I expected. The handle on the lid gets hot when cooking. I burned my fingers on it. I purchased the 10 and 12 in. Calphalon pans I 1 was very happy with the quality.

Excellent fry pan! Browns your food perfectly without any sticking but also will produce an omelet cooked picture perfect. I have owned many Calphalon pans and I think this one is the best.

One big omelette!

by Barbara, MI
September 26, 2010

I love how easily the omlettes cook in and slide out of this pan. But it is a big pan! You pretty much need a 3 egg omlette to fill it. But I love it!

Husband loved this skillet

by Cathy, OR
October 25, 2010

I bought this for my husband, who is picky about his cookware , and what he likes, I decided to suprise him with a new one, his old was worn out, at first he wasn't sure then after using it, he really liked it, and loved the bigger size, as he stir fries alot. I give this an A plus

Nonstick covered skillet, not what it seems

by Carl, OR
November 15, 2010

Well, I thought this was a covered skillet, but what it turned out to be is a covered omelet pan. It came with the interior slightly scratched and the bottom is slightly warped. I have other Calphalon unison pans and have had no issues with these. Disappointed with this one.

Unison Cookware, is my new drug of choice!

by Debbra, TX
December 6, 2010

This is my fourth set of Calphalon cookware, each time trading up. About 2 years ago I bought the One series and was very pleased with them until I cooked with the Unison series. After 40 years of daily cooking the Unison series is the best I have ever used. I passed the One series on to a friend and bought the complete line of Unison. They are dishwasher safe, but I'm not sure why! I haven't found anything that doesn't just wipe out with a sponge and soapy water. In the "sear" items the meat becomes a wonderful golden brown, not the usual nonstick gray! The 12" skillet was the last time I needed to have the full set, splurge your deserve it!

love my Calphalon skillet

by denise, NJ
September 5, 2011

it's a great pan that fits the bill for most of the dishes i cook for my family. the only thing is that you have to be super careful not to scratch the inside of it w/metal utensils. cooks evenly & clean-up is a breeze.

Have lots of different kinds of pans. But this one is really nice. So much better results than thinner and cheaper pans. The top works well and I recommend getting it.

Great when new, but....

by Perry, NY
December 4, 2011

This is one of several Calphalon Unison pans that we own. They work great when new. The non-stick coating is surprisingly delicate, especially when pans are stacked for storage. We are going to be much more careful with these (never stacking them without a towel in between pans) and see if they last longer. Otherwise, I will be moving on to another brand.

Great Skillet

by Mary, TX
December 10, 2011

I love this product. It's dishwasher proof and my husband does not like to wash my cookware by hand. I think he's happier than I am on this purchase. I love the way the heat is even and cooks very well.

Remaining Question

by Bruce, OK
January 2, 2012

Williams and Senoma claim the pan is Made in the USA. Granted, the company appears to be US, but I would like to see a clear statement from the company defining the manufacturing point for the pan and their home office: UAS, Canada, China, India???? I try NOT to purchase items from China and India because of low quality - hope I did not make a mistake here.

Best deal on the Best Pan!

by Peggy, WA
November 3, 2009

I absolutely love this covered Omelette Pan! As I have been buliding my Unison set I've been looking for pieces to round out the collection. This pan is so useful and considerably less expensive on Cooking.com than any other place, if you can even find it elsewhere. It runs $125 on other sites! What a fabulous pan!

I love my new 12-inch nonstick covered Omelette Pan by Calpalon. The quality in the omelette pan lets you know that it will last a long time. This pan can be used as an everyday cooking pan, also. Easy to clean, with no sticking.
