Nice, dark coffee

I use this when I'm too lazy to roast my own. Generally we like it, with two caveats: sometimes the blend is just - well, different, not the same. Consistency is always a problem in blends, though, so we've dealt. But - where's the bag with the octopus?? I've never seen it!

Amazing Rich Coffee

This is probably my favorite coffee right now. Was initially introduced to it by my sister but was reacquainted with it again at a hotel in San Francisco. Very smooth and rich with hints on vanilla, never bitter in anyway. It's a coffee you'll love to wake up every morning to, but we just use it on the weekends so we don't get too spoiled.

We have jura impressa and this is the best brand of whole bean coffee we have found on the market. The beans are not too oily so it saves wear and tear on the mechanics of the machine. And the benefit is a wonderful full body cup of espresso

Finally found Torrefazione to buy.

I first tasted Torrefazione at a wedding catered by the Hyatt Regency. It tasted like the original Starbucks coffee at Seattle's Pike Market, before they went national. Wow!

After talking with the food and beverage manager, I found out the name of the coffee, Torrefazione Napoli blend, and its unavailability in local stores. GFS doesn't sell to the public, but has an exclusive contract to distribute to Hyatt. Found it online!

I'd like to try the Perugia and Palermo blends. I 've read good things about them.

Napoli Blend is the smoothest of all the full bodied Italian roast coffees. Never bitter.

Perugia vs Napoli

Both are good, but I prefer the Perugia as i find the Napoli just a little darker than I generally purchase.

Really good coffee. Bold flavor, rich taste. Mellow yet flavorful. Smooth texture, but full of coffee flavor.

We bought some of this with a coupon and liked it so much we bought more, even if it is more expensive than our usual brands.

great depth, very smooth, very flavorful. we have been huge fans of this coffee for a number of years.

My husband and I discovered this coffee at a small restaurant several years ago, while on vacation. We talked the manager into selling us a bag to take home. We then searched to find this coffee for sale and have enjoyed it at home ever since. It has become increasingly difficult to find in whole bean form, and we hope it will continue to be available through epicurious.
