The metal appears thinner on the bottom and sides than my previous Calphalon Commercial 8 quart pot. The handles, though, conduct less heat.

I used this pot the day after I received it and was amazed to find I didn't need pot holders to remove the lid or move the pot, even after it had been simmering for several hours. And what a joy to finally have a pot big enough to cook a huge stew. Cleanup was a breeze. I've used your cookware for years and its the only brand I'll ever buy. I live alone, so I cook large meals and freeze them in single-serving containers. This pot will get a lot of use.

Love this pot. It does a wonderful job. Don't have to worry about any thing sticking.

Commercial grade lower quality - thinner pot

This new "Commercial" grade spot eems to be lower quality - much thinner than my older Calphalon commerical grade pots.

Outstanding Stockpot

I just used my new 12qt stockpot for the first time. I absolutely love it! Cleanup was very easy!
