    I was very excited about purchasing my first stock pot. I've been using a stainless steel 4 qt pan until now. The description of the product said that it was a full aluminum core, when I received it, only the bottom is the full core. After 3 hours of cooking quartered potatoes on med heat, the water still wasn't boiling and the potatoes weren't done. I have also been scrubbing/soaking the bottom of the pan for 3 days trying to remove the scorched potatoes from the bottom.

    Great stock pot.

    I do a lot of canning, and the ideal size for me is a 9 qt batch. I have an 8 qt and 22 qt stock pot - the 8 qt is ust too small and the 22 so large it is hard to work with. Thus the purchase of this pot. I love it! If I ever replace the other two sizes it will be with this brand (if available). I've used it both on stove-top and in the oven. I especially like the glass lid - it is really nice to see what's happening without lifting the lid.

    Amazing Stockpot

    I was looking for a reasonable sized stockpot that would cook chili, stew, etc. without sticking problems. This pot fills the bill. Enables you to use a low heat setting and cooks easily without any sticking. Easy cleanup. The new modern design is quite attractive as well. I am very pleased.

    I have had my pots and pans since I got married, and they were really beginning to look tattered with scrapes and dings. I decided to replace them as I could, and since large pots are never in sets, when I saw this online for half price I couldn't resist. It's wonderful - very even heat, did a beautiful job on the soups and stews I made over the holiday! Easy to clean afterwards too, so I know that my replacements will look good for a lot longer than my first set did!

    The only SS pot I use!!

    I have always wanted a SS pot but almost all were good looks but not much else.Until I saw these at the foodnetwork store,not only do they look good,but based only all the other reveiws i gave it a shot.And I must agree the are excellent pots.So good I have gotten rid of my nonstick cookware,and purchased all of the Contempary SS Calaphon.

    This is a good stock pot made of good materials. The only problem is that there are exessive labels such as names and logos on the product. Please avoid putting names and logos on visible areas of the product such as lid or on the cover or the sides, handles etc. Your excessive advertising ruined your product even though you might have done that to protect your intellectual property.
