I received this two weeks ago. It does a wonderful job of cooking and I look forward to using it more. However, the instruction book was vague with cooking. I went ahead and bought a full Halogen Oven cookbook to get more practice using it.
The timer dial is very hard to turn back if you manage to turn it past the minutes you want to cook for. Aside from that I find the simple control panel a breath of fresh air from all the "over buttoned" appliances out there. In minutes I was ready to cook right out of the box.
Kudos for including the extender ring at no additional cost. Other ovens make you pay extra. Now, if I can just figure out how to make that Thanksgiving Turkey I'll be golden--no pun intended.

Cooked a 12 lb. turkey and veggies in record time and it was really moist. Baked biscuits and even a pie. This is a great tool for a single guy or a couple that hates to heat the big oven. It even cleans itselt! I gave one to my daugther.
