I had never made pickles before so when the six weeks was up and we opened the pickles I was very pleased with the reaction of my family. I then brought some to work and was told I had mastered the pickle. Thanks for making me look so good.

Kosher Dill Pickle Mix

I'm not sure yet. The first mix I used was a light yellow and the pickles were fantastic. When I got the new mix from you, it was a light orange in color. I haven't tried those picles yet. If they are as good, then I will need to hide them from my 5 year old grandson, he ate four of the ones from the first batch. Kathryn Flores.

Pickles

We had a bumper crop of cukes this year and having tried Ball brand Kosher dill mix and another leading mix we determined that Ball had a better taste. Due to everyone else in our region having a massive Cuke crop the Ball packages had disappeared so we bought four flex batch containers. We used all of them up within two days of arrival. They did a great job at a great price. It was economical and convenient since our dill crop didn't grow this year and we had not anticipated the massive crop of cucumbers.

In the stores this item seems to vanish quite quickly. The stores should carry and extra amount since for years it is the same problem-hard to find

Freshness of Product

by Bettie, AL
June 25, 2013

The Kosher Dill mix was one solid mass in the container which made me question the freshness of the product. I was able to break it apart with a little effort. I have made the pickles but do not know if they will be any good because the recommendation is to let them set up for 6 weeks before tasting. Hope they will be ok because it was time consuming to make them.
