Rice potatoes and other cooked foods with the RSVP International 13.5-in. Endurance Potato Ricer. Whether you're straining cooked pears through the sieve to make baby food for your little one or squeezing the water out of sliced potatoes as you prepare to cook hash browns, you'll get plenty of use out of this specialty kitchen item. This handy gadget can also squeeze the liquid out of green leafy vegetables you're preparing for use in a quiche, salad or sauté, or you can use it to break up cold butter for use in recipes that call for butter that isn't warmed up. You can even use your potato ricer to prepare gnocchi and experiment with Italian recipes in your kitchen. The device comes with two interchangeable plates with medium and coarse hole sizes, so you have an option when pushing items through to break them into small pieces. A pot extension has three notches to let you easily hook the ricer onto a pot for use during the cooking process. As long as you don't overfill it, you will get consistent results time after time, and the 4-inch head gives you plenty of room. This device is dishwasher safe, making cleanup easier.

  • Makes Great Mashed Potatoes!

This is my first experience with a potato ricer but I had done a lot of research before purchasing this one and I was not disappointed! Once you use a ricer you will never use a mixer on potatoes again! Easy to clean and use!

  • Smooth Potatoes

This is the first potatoe ricer I have ever used. It was recommended by American's Test Kitchen. It works really well. I'm not very strong and I have small hands so I find that if I only partially fill the hopper it is much easier to use.

    I recommend this product.

  • Great product for the home cook

I have owned potato ricers before but this one is the best. Easy to use, easily sets on a bowl, easy to clean, and it's not metal. People stop putting your potatoes in the stand mixer! Highly recommend this product.

No more beating yourself silly with a hand masher or worrying about a pasty texture using a mixer. Potatoes thru ricer, stir in melted butter, milk or whatever you prefer and they are perfect. Easy to use and clean.

  • Never make mashed potatoes with a mixer again

This is my second RSVP Potato Ricer. The first is kept on our RV, I had to have one for the house too. It works like a dream. Easy to clean, dishwasher safe. The texture is great and the taste is fantastic. Run the cooked potatoes through the ricer, a little butter, salt & pepper and milk stir it up and you have perfect potatoes. No more whipping potatoes with a mixer ever again.

    I recommend this product.

  • Lefse Partner

This item is particularly useful in the making of lefse. I also like the two different discs, which makes it easy to get a larger "ricer" product for different vegetables. I would definitely recommend this for individuals with arthritis in their hands, like myself. Thank you for offereing this product.

  • Potato ricer

This was my first experience with a potato ricer in more than 30 years of cooking. It made quick work of the cooked potatoes and they came out minus lumps and very smooth. The price was very inexpensive and it has two metal plates to vary the coarseness. I'm looking forward to using it for sweet potatoes this weekend for Easter.

    I recommend this product.

  • Potato Ricer

The RSVP potato ricer was the top rated product on America's Test Kitchen. After I received it, I tried it right away. It works wonderfully. I would recommend this product to everyone. Some of the other reviews I read before I ordered it suggested that it is hard to take apart to clean, I didn't have any problems at all.
    It is a wonderful product.

  • Good value

It's mostly plastic, but very sturdy. If I'm ricing russets, I do have to cut them in half due to the thick skins. But it handles whole Yukon Golds easily.

  • perfect potatoes!

I purchased this particular ricer after seeing it reviewed by America's Test Kitchen. I love that it comes completely apart for cleaning in the dishwasher. I also love the two different sizes of plates for ricing. It is well built, sturdy plastic and metal, and easy to use. It does require some hand strength and may prove harder to use for anyone with arthritis or really small hands. Me? I make my husband do it!
If you very lightly fold in some butter and milk or cream with your potatoes after ricing, you'll have the fluffiest, most perfect potatoes ever! I won't do mashed/whipped potatoes any other way now that I have this handy gadget!

    I recommend this product.
