Rice potatoes and other cooked foods with the RSVP International 13.5-in. Endurance Potato Ricer. Whether you're straining cooked pears through the sieve to make baby food for your little one or squeezing the water out of sliced potatoes as you prepare to cook hash browns, you'll get plenty of use out of this specialty kitchen item. This handy gadget can also squeeze the liquid out of green leafy vegetables you're preparing for use in a quiche, salad or sauté, or you can use it to break up cold butter for use in recipes that call for butter that isn't warmed up. You can even use your potato ricer to prepare gnocchi and experiment with Italian recipes in your kitchen. The device comes with two interchangeable plates with medium and coarse hole sizes, so you have an option when pushing items through to break them into small pieces. As long as you don't overfill it, you will get consistent results time after time, and the 4-inch head gives you plenty of room. This device is dishwasher safe, making cleanup easier.

  • Makes Great Mashed Potatoes!

This is my first experience with a potato ricer but I had done a lot of research before purchasing this one and I was not disappointed! Once you use a ricer you will never use a mixer on potatoes again! Easy to clean and use!

    I recommend this product.

  • Smooth Potatoes

This is the first potatoe ricer I have ever used. It was recommended by American's Test Kitchen. It works really well. I'm not very strong and I have small hands so I find that if I only partially fill the hopper it is much easier to use.

    I recommend this product.

  • Creamy Mash

My first attempt to use the RSVP International Potato Ricer was not at all successful, only because I undercooked the potatoes. A lesson one likely will only have to learn once when using a ricer. Undercooked potatoes are near impossible to pass through a ricer! Attempt number two proved to be far better. The potatoes glided through the ricer with ease, and yielded smooth, creamy potatoes (my family loved them). The RSVP International Potato Ricer is easy to operate, requiring very little muscle power as compared with other ricers. And the smooth, contoured handle allows you to re-load and continue ricing potatoes over and over without cutting into your hands like some other ricers can do. This is a great product, it's dishwasher safe, and economical too. What more could a busy cook ask for?

    I recommend this product.

  • this is the first time that my mashed potatoes came out fluffy and
not gluey. Of course I followed a recipe to insure these results but
I'm positive that the ricer helped tremendously. It was easy to use
and clean up was easy. Great product, great price, great results.
What more could I ask for. Excellent.

  • Because I've only had this ricer for such a short time, I'm unable to give it my complete endorsement, but based on having used it twice, it's a terrific buy!! It has a large opening so that you don't have to cut up the potatoes into little teeny bits and it is extremely easy to clean. Changing the inserts is easy. Just make sure that the potatoes are properly cooked, but that's true of all ricers.

    I recommend this product.

  • RSVP potato ricer

The only negative thing I can say about this ricer is that the plastic part that holds the ricer plate in place is a little difficult to remove for changing or cleaning. Small hands, those without much strength or arthritics may have some trouble with it. My grown daughter has small hands and she has a bit of difficulty but I don't. I thought it might be difficult to press the potatoes through but it was very easy. I do like the ricer and would normally recommend it.

  • Great except for clean-up

This ricer works great for mashed potatoes, but clean up is a problem. Do not immerse in water as water accumulates in the base portion. To drain this water you must stand it on end for a long period of time. I f this is not done it will drain wherever you put it for storage. Would recommend being able to separate base unit from the upper parts at the hinge. Also being able to separate the base handle portion, (green from white), would facilite cleaning and drainage.
    Otherwise it works great.

  • Yummy potatoes

Potatoes were very good. Can't wait to try it to make German dumplings and spaezle.
I wish there were instructions to use since I have never riced anything. Also was hard to take apart to clean or change blade. My husband had no problem though.

    I recommend this product.

  • Riced potatoes better

Tried my potato ricer by RSVP International for first time on Thanksgiving. My family said the mashed potatoes were much lighter and more flavorful than they had ever been. I thought the potatoes had much improved texture over traditional mashed potatoes. They tasted pretty good (fresh) too!
