Good concept
The concept is good ... however, it is a bit large and cumbersome to use.

This is the fish (and omelet) spatula you've been looking for! Easy to use and long enough to get all the way under that big piece of fish you want to flip without breaking the piece! Love it!

My husband and I are both retired so I don't cook much anymore. He is trying his hand at cooking..hmmm...and I watch the cooking show to get new ideas and menus to help us both. I love this spatula for turning over fish and oven baked chicken. It also cleans so easily.

The spatula was purchased for my wife, and she is delighted with it. It seems that practically every cook on Food Network uses one, and we've been trying to find one locally for a long time. It's remarkable that stores such as Bed, Bath and Beyond don't carry a similar spatula. The only surprise was that this particular spatula turned out to be somewhat larger than we expected.

actually purchased to help me with homemade raviolis (needed something thin to scrape them off the counter once cut/made). Hubby keeps taking it for the grill as he is in love with it. Works great for all kinds of things. Was a bit expensive, but worth it.

Now I'm happy. Great tool.
Since this is my first metal, slotted spatula, I'm not sure how others compare. I can tell you that it's definitely a good bargain, and it works well. Most metal spatulas are well into the $30 range.
I would opt for the smaller version next time. It's quite large, and therefore best for larger pans. A great buy!!
Excellent for the price. Works beautifully, would have give it a 5, but the handle is not smooth as it joins the spatula, some people might be bothered by it. I'm not, glad I found it and I use it a lot!

I have never had a spatula like this although my mother had one years ago [red enameled wood handle]. I love it.

Too Big
I found this product to be too handle heavy. It falls out of the pan. It seemed too big also. I bought it because of it's diswasher safe washability. The smaller wood handled ones lacked that. I suppose it would be fine for big burgers or something heavy but my next item to buy will be a smaller lighter one. If you need something heavy you might enjoy it. the craftsmanship is fine and it can be sterilized but for me I'd like a smaller one.

This spatula is a great addition to anyones drawer. It makes lifting items of a delicate nature easier with its wide mouth and the slight upward angle at the end of the spatula.

This product was too large for my needs, I returned it and ordered the right sized one and are very pleased with it.
I had no problems with the return of item and refund of my money was prompt. I will definitly use this site again.
Yeah, ok, I guess . . .
I hate spending twenty bucks for a mere spatula. More than that, I hate having a delicate piece of fish at today's food prices break up in the pan because I didn't have the right tool for the job. This is the right tool, and for more than just fish. It is sure to become one of my overall favorites in the tool caddy.
