Simply slice off the top of a fresh pineapple and twist the Slicer onto the exposed fruit to create perfect pineapple rings. The ratcheting handle makes it easy to core pineapples quickly without having to remove and replace your hand with each twist. Measurement markings on the Slicer determine your pineapple’s height before slicing so you know when the Slicer is about to reach the bottom of the fruit. This feature ensures an intact pineapple shell to fill with fruit salad or a festive cocktail if desired. The turning knob features a soft, comfortable, non-slip grip and separates from the shaft for easy cleaning. I like that this pineapple corer/slice is ratcheting and that it is stainless steel instead of plastic. Fresh pineapple is almost a staple in our house and it's much faster and less messy than cutting by hand.

The Pineapple slicer is a must have if you are going to have fresh pineapple in your house. It makes cutting up your pineapple simple. No more cutting around the core or trying to get the pesty skin off. Just cut the top of the pineapple off and use this tool to slice and core the pineapple.

Great Way to Prepare Pineapple

It's quick and easy. The only problem I have is that so much of the pineapple gets wasted. I've always cut it by hand, but my family does not appreciated the holes in it. the Pineapple Slicer cuts it just like it comes in a can, with a hole on the middle and the sides smooth and straight. Good thing the wild bunnies like the leftovers, so it doesn't really go to waste.

Good product and makes coring & slicing fresh pineapple easier. Swath of slice cutter could be just a bit bigger, but no real complaints.
