Items are sturdy and very well made(and made in the USA...a bonus). Instructions for use must be followed exactly and take a little getting used to. Pans must be pre-heated properly with sufficient fat added later to be truly non-stick. They clean easily. I don't expect to have to buy any more cookware. This set meets all my needs.

Calphalon Hard Anodized

So far I have been happy with the set. It seems to heat quickly and evenly. Cleaning has not been that big of an issue. I was initially concerned about this after reading other reviews. The only issue I have is that the pots easily gains scratches and dings from storage. I haven't figured out a good way yet to store them yet.

Outstanding no Non-Stick

As a cook, I dislike cooking with non-stick pans, this is a real set of cookware. It holds up to high heat, and abuse, and I feel good using this cookware.

Calphalon is the best!

I own several calphalon pots and pans now (kitchen essentials and simply calphlon) but wanted something to replace my "magnalite" cookwear sinces its about 20 years old and since I love the wear and tear of your products, that is why I decided to purchase directly from your website. Additionally, its made in America! :-)

Better than nonstick

My husband and I love these pans. We were given one as a wedding present 11 years ago and it has always been our favorite, even over our Calphalon nonsticks. It's still going strong. It certainly was the pan we turned to whenever we needed higher heat. I even feel that when cooking it behaves better than a nonstick. And they clean like a breeze (think new baby soft) with the green side of the sponge, the side we are always tempted to use on our nonsticks, right? We also love the confidence we have that when family comes and helps cook and clean, they won't ruin our pans when using metal tools and scouring pads. Thank you, Calphalon!

Calphalon anadized cookware

The cookware was bought to replace a 25 year old set of Calphalon. I really like the anodized cookware because it is so versatile and no special cooking utensils required to be used on the cookware. Additionally the glass tops allow you to see inside so that you do not lose heat taking the lids off.

I'm very pleased with the purchase. It is made with great quality. The added bonus MADE IN THE USA.

Non-Stick

Product is sold Commercial Hard-Anodized Aluminum, it was my understanding that a hard-anodized product was a non-stick surface. However I can't cook an omlette in the omlette pan without having to scrape the omlette up to try to fold it over. If hard-anodized is not a non-stick surface, that should be made clear on the website.

Cookware looks good on the outside? Had some imperfections interior when arrived. What I didn't like was that it discolored badly on the inside the first time i used it. Don't really understand why that happens.

nice selection of sizes

These are beautiful pans. They clean up nicely, too, with less effort than I expected. The set includes the sizes I wanted at a good price (I bought them on sale, which is always a good thing). I would pay full price for more of the line, though I would look for a sale first.

Non-stick not what I would have wished

Dispite following the dirictions for oiling the cooking surface before using, I find many foods stick leaving a residue that is hard to clean off. This is disappointing in cook ware that is so expensive.

I have wanted a new set of cookware for sometime, but did NOT want a nonstick interior. I love this cookware. It is heavy weight, heats evenly, and even though to is not nonstick clean up is simple.

Great cookware and MADE IN USA

Love the cookware. I chose Calphalon Commercial for two main reasons, no toxic coating and it had to be made right here in the USA. Thank you for a quality product made in our own country!!

great cookware for the next 20 years

We feel this product is the best for the value. We could buy less expensive product but will it last? Our first set lasted 19 years. this set covers almost all of our cooking needs.

Disappointed

I have tried everything that your booklet suggests to keep things from sticking. They still do. I was so excited about getting good quality cookware, I am no longer escited. I have to live with them because of the cost.

Best decision made on cookware

I used the same old cook ware for 20 years, never wanting to upgrade, the old stuff still worked, kinda. But this new set is so much better, cooking is even and clean up is quick and painless. I wonder why i didn't upgrade sooner.
