Stellar performance

These pans are great - heavy steel, good-looking and above all, they perform flawlessly. After years of buying nonstick pans that would scratch and flake no matter how well they were treated, we decided to go with stainless steel. They heat evenly and quickly, they actually don't stick very much (use a bit of oil), and they clean up much more easily than we expected. At worst, a bit of Barkeeper's Friend gets them looking like new. We couldn't be happier with this cookware.

I really love my new set. The only thing that could have been better was I don't think they are supposed to work well on glass cook tops. I didn't know this and will have to make do with what I have. I do love this set!! I'd been waiting to get it for a long time because I wanted the whole set instead of just a pot or pan at a time.

Contemporary Cookware

I did a lot of research before I bought this set and it paid off well. I love - everything cooks even, the stainless cleans up well, the weight is heavy but not too heavy, the design is flawless, the whole package is great. I saw the complaints on the metal seam on the lids and some of mine were smooth and some you can feel a little roughness on the lip but all in all, great product.

Excellent Set of Pans....

These pans are out of this world. They are very easy to cook with and if used properly, cook food very evenly and sometimes quicker than regular non-stick annodized pans. I would recommend them to any serious cook. Be aware they are NOT non-stick. You must cook with oils or butter if you want to prevent this, but they still clean up nicely, and to help remove the residual spots, we simple use the Bar Keepers Friend liquid scrub that is recommended for cleaning stainless steel and the pots clean up as brand new. I would also recommend using a pot rack instead of shoving them into a cupboard as they will get dinged and scratched badly if you do not store them properly. This set is too beautiful to NOT display out in the open.

Great Pans!!

This is my second set of cookware from Calphalon but first in the stainless steal. It took a bit getting used to stainless as food tends to stick easier. Sticking is no longer a problem once you get used to using the pans. I was amazed at the different flavor of foods using these pans, good recipes are even better. The pans clean up easy, even in hard water.
