Good and Hot coffee

The coffee it makes is great. However,
Difficult to program. Set up instructions are vague, at best. "Brew" button is temperamental.

Brewed about 5 pots in this maker. First time, half the water ended up on counter. Second time it worked fine. 3rd - 5th time...a mess (had to put coffee maker in sink to prevent another clean up). I was very careful to make sure the reservoir was seated completely and correctly after the first spill, it still leaked. It did however, make great coffee. It's a shame, but this one is going back. Not what I expected from a kitchenaid product.

Controls were not very user friendly. Ok, but had to actually read the manual. Did not like having to remove the entire basket to get to filter either.

I purchased this model because it is a 14 cup coffee maker. Also, KitchenAid is a reputable product. From the first cup I brewed, I have enjoyed perfect coffee. I wouls recommend this product for all coffee drinkers.
