The rack is simple and while not of the most sturdy construction is effective for everyday grilling. I have used it for drumsticks so far and was very happy with how even the cooking was done without burning the skin. The tray was also effective at trapping grease keeping the grill clean. Removing the drumsticks from the rack once complete was relatively easy, but a light coat of vegetable/olive oil on it before grilling might make that easier as well as cleaning afterward. Cleaning was relatively easy with curves in rack only slightly difficult place. Probably would be easy with coating of vegetable oil.

I used it when somking wings and legs, it served me very nicely. I'm going to grill some legs tomorrow. I have the legs seasoned up right now to put on the grill tomorrow.

Great idea in grilling...reduces flare-ups with high fat chix parts. Tray accepts succulents for imparting additional flavors! I got two for larger parties!!!

Cooked drumstick for a 4th of July picnic and they were the hit of the party. The chicken was evenly cooked and flavorful. Clean-up was quick and easy.

'USUALLY DO DOGS AND FROZEN BURGERS ON THE GRILL. MY WIFE DOES THE FANCY STUFF FROM POT ROAST TO CAT FISH. THIS MAKES PERFECT DRUM STICKS.. CHICKEN TASTES LIKE IT SHOULD - NOT DRY, NOT SLIMY, NOT BURNT WITH PERFECT CRYSPY SKIN.
