We recommend rinsing your grater in warm water immediately after each use. Remove trapped particles from the non-sharp side whenever possible. To remove trapped particles on the front, first soak the tool in warm water and then use a cleaning brush to stroke in the same direction as the teeth
Store with blade covered when not in use

This grater is super sharp. I discovered this when I sliced off a tip of my fingernail. I love this grater. Most of the time, I can't find my box grater, and this one can be tucked away in a utensil drawer. A word of warning; use the cover to keep it covered while in the drawer so you don't slice a finger when you grab it.

This grater is excellent.I was always envious of Rachael's and how quickly she was able to get the garlic into the recipe.Now I can do it too and there will definitely be many other uses for this grater.Thanks for making these products so easily available. Leila Cahalan

This product makes nice ribbons, and slices garlic for those dishes where you don't want to chop or mince. Just watch your fingers, as with any grater! Thisone is wonderfully sharp

This grater is the perfect partner to my zester. I love how it grates garlic (thanks Rachael Ray!) and cheese. It's easier to use, especially for garlic as it doesn't turn it into pulp. It is sharp so be careful when you use it.
