    Nice set of cookware

    by Aleta, UT
    September 3, 2012

We recently bought a glasstop range and needed new pots and pans. This set has plenty of sizes. They're nice with a heavy flat bottom perfect for our cooktop.

The food doesn't stick much and it isn't that bad to clean. Only one pan is pitted on inside bottom and I have to return it for another pan.

After years of teflon coated cookware, we decided to buy our last set of cookware...stainless steel. We shopped around for quality and value. This set by Cuisinart has surpassed our expectations!

    Cooks Great!!! Looks Great!!!

    January 24, 2011

I received these pans for an after Christmas present and I really like the way they cook!! The food cooks evenly and quickly. The pans do leave spots from cooking, however using a little "Bar Keepers Friend" makes them look as good as new.

    New Cookware

    by Susan, OH
    August 24, 2010

I have been watching more cooking shows and trying new techniques. So when I got a new stove I also got new pots and pans.
They are wonderful - however it has caused me to do things differently. Because they are stainless steel they cook fast. High is now 5 and so on down the line. First time out with the medium fry pan, I did have the element set for 5 to cook taco shells. I used some spray oil and with in a minute it had burned the pan. Now my fry pan bears the burn marks. so be careful with these pans. I even noticed some soup - placed on low - was still boiling.

I also like the feature that I can go from stove top to the oven to finish a dish.

I purchased this cookware and I have to say it has definetely live up to my expectations. I watch the Foodnetwork and always observed that they cooked with Cuisinart so I decided to give it a try and have not been disappointed. I would recommend this to everyone.

    great buy for the $$$$

    by ELIZABETH, FL

I got this set recently, and am really impressed with it so far. I'd returned a Rachel Ray blue enamel set that was terrible, and couldn't be happier with this set. I'd bought some Rachel Ray professional pieces, and they're great, but the enamel set was junk-- the color oxidized the first use, the interior surface scratched off -- was really disappointing. Anyway, this stuff cooks evenly, and you can put the pieces in the dishwasher, which isn't recommended with a lot of other sets. You might have to use some elbow grease to get it cleaned, but it's worth it. I love the pasta insert, and have used it a lot for pasta, corn and potatoes. It's also great because you can put these in the oven, either to keep something warm, or to finish cooking, which you can't do with a lot of other cookware. This set is a great deal for the money. I did a lot of shopping around before deciding on this set, and I really love it.

This set of pans is a really good buy for such a great set of cookware. They heat quickly and evenly and maintain the heat well. I have greatly enjoyed cooking with them since I got them!

I bought 2 sets as gifts. Both families are well pleased.

There was a bonus knife with each set, but in the Christmas confusion I lost the info on how to get the bonus. Is it still possible to obtain the bonus knives?

Are you concerned about the possible health hazards from the material used to coat non-stick pans? Then do what I did and throw out the old non-stick and purchase this stainless steel set from Cuisinart. It's beautiful and easy to clean.

I researched cookware for about a year, after becoming very disappointed in my Calphalon hard-anodized set. Finally saw a single Cuisinart piece in a store at a discounted price, bought it and made my decision. Clean up is a breeze, temp is even (I have a ceramic top stove) and I just can't say enough good things about this set. It's priced nicely to give as a gift if the occasion every arises, too!

I absolutely love this cookware and recommend it to anyone provided they do read the instructions about proper cooking and cleaning up. It's wonderful! I no longer have to replace coated cookware that hubby or the kids scratched up!! I finally feel like a real woman!

    Love it!

I have waited a long time for new cookware and I did a ton of research before settling on this set. It is a wonderful value and I love cooking with it! I was pleasantly surprised by how fast they heat up and I was excited to see that when I am cooking I actually see bubbles all over the surface of what I am cooking. I used the 9 qt. stockpot to make jam and it was wonderful! It was deep enough to keep me from getting splatted with hot jam as I was boiling it. I like the way they feel (heavy) and they sit well on my ceramic cooktop. They wash up beautifully even in the dishwasher and I am looking forward to enjoying this cookware for years to come! I also ordered the 12 qt. stockpot to accompany the set and it too is lovely!

    Nice for the price

    by Erika, CA
    April 23, 2007

Overall, a nice, attractive set for the price. My only complaint is that the handles on the lids get a little hot (the handles on the pots and pans are fine). Otherwise, they cook evenly and clean up well.

    Cuisinart Stainless Cookware

    by Ronald, CA
    April 1, 2007

As a retired chef I wanted quality cookware at home. I had tried expensive coated ware, much to my disappointment, fairly soon after purchase the coating started to flake-off into the food I was preparing [and I was using the proper utensils]. It was time to return to what I new would serve me well - stainless steel - layered with aluminum to heat quickly and evenly. Cuisinart was the brand I chose for their reputation. I have not been disapointed; all I want is a pot or pan to do it's job these do! And cleanup is a breeze.
