    Excellent return policy

    by Veldon, WA
    March 2, 2010

The knife set itself is great and is a good value for the price. The wood block however arrived with a white substance all over it that would not come off. I called in about it and without any hassle a new one was shipped to me without delay--even before I sent the old one back. The on-line return label system is great. Your customer service department should be a model for other companies.

    Paula's Knife Set With Block

    by Marjorie, FL
    October 7, 2009

We have 3 other knife sets which will be given to charity as the new set we got is the best overall. They are nicely weighted and really fit the hand to make cutting, slicing and carving so much easier. The wood block is beautiful and I highly recommend this set, my Hubby is so pleased he can now slice very thin pieces of meat easily so we both will enjoy using this set every day.

    Professional Quality Knives inexpensive

    by Robert, CO
    January 16, 2011

Purchased these as part of the 16 piece set. While they had the rebate going on during the Christmas holiday.

My daughter had been wanting good knives for a while now. I hate over priced knives so I kept looking and looking. Came upon these and figured I would give them a look thanks to a great return policy at cooking.com if I did not like them.

They arrived and as soon as I opened them I knew she was going to like them. This is professional quality knives at a really inexpensive price.

As a professional chef I demand a lot to consider a knife professional quality. While most go on how much the knife costs because they don't know any better, I never go by price... this is a professional set priced at a very reasonable price.

    Good Quality Knives

    by Louis, OR
    February 15, 2010

These knives are not Henkel's or Wustoff's, but for a set of affordable knives, these are better than most. Good forged, not stamped, blades, with a medium weight to them. Good feel and nice look.

    Knife set

    by Hugh, LA
    January 23, 2010

I gave my good knives to my daughter a couple of years ago,and thought I could get by with cheap knives.BIG MISTAKE.I figured that I would go ahead and get a set of decent knives so that I had some in the kitchen.Since I started using these I am so happy that I bought them. Nothing can take the place of good cutlery in the kitchen.

Very good quality for the price...

I think it is under valued for the price. I was not expecting as good quality as I got because of the price. But not raise the price. Good heavy feel, very sharp, nice storage block. Well done Food Network and Paula!

I'm very pleased with the quality and look of these knives, and the very attractive wooden storage block is an added bonus. The weight and feel of the knives is very good. Do be careful -- the knives are quite sharp. Our old knives must have been duller than I thought because I sported Band-Aids for a couple of days after receiving the new set until I caught on. I don't recall seeing in the web description a note that the knives should not be put in the dishwasher, although the paperwork that came with the shipment specified that. It would have been useful to know upfront.

I love Paul Deen products I wish Bobby Flay had more to choose from. These are so nice and sharp oh and not heavy at all. You do need to be careful with these bad boys but man talk about getting things sliced up nicely...makes me feel like a professional chef!

    Paula Dean Cutler Set.

    by Elizabeth, PA
    February 4, 2010

I've been cooking for a number of years and this is the first cutlery I've had where, brand new, the knives are sharp. I've been using it for several weeks now and they are still sharp. I'm very pleased with this set and the price is a bargain compared to other cutlery that never "cut" it, if you know what I mean. Very, Very happy!!
