exactly what i expect from a kitchen knite set. I have purchased over three different set in the last 10yr., just trying to fine the perfect set. look no more, this set is strudy-sharp-and stylish. i will no longer be buying anymore knife sets for a long time i'm sure. I have been waiting for a while to purchase a good knife set and read all of the reviews on this one and I'm SO glad I made the purchase. The wood block looks great on my kitchen counter and the knives are sharp and easy to grip! This is a GREAT deal for the price and the product truly won't let you down.

I just purchased the Paula Deen knife block set and I love it. I did a lot of comparison shopping for knives and this set is a great value. The knives are comfortable to hold and are the perfect sharpness. The design of the knives and block would fit into any home whether it is more traditional or contemporary. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a new knife set.

I purchased this cutlery set for my mother as a gift and she loves them but I like a knife that has the teeth on em (serated?). I love that the block holds all th knives plus the scisors. Now we dont have to go digging in the drawer to find em.

The knives arrived promptly as indicated.. The overall appearance is stimulating to the viewer! The wood block is beautiful in appearance and functionality. I didn't realize just how dull my other knives were until I received these. They are so sharp and easy to handle. It has cut my prep time in half. What a wonderful product. It was well worth the purchase.

We had previously purchased the 17 piece set from our local Walmart only to find that the Santaku (sp?) knife was missing. We ordered this as a replacement via on-line and are happy with it, except that the paring knife is very dull. It won't even cut through a tomato!
