Probably a good product however, I would not have purchased if I knew it was made in China!

Excellence

The product that i purchased was unbelievable. I cook everyday in culinary school and at work and this by far is the best set of pots and pans that i have ever used, i would recommend the nonstick for any occasion. I am very happy with the product purchased and will continue to be happy.

overall product

I love the product overall but the TV ad with Chef Symon is very misleading. These pots and pans are not dishwasher safe like the commercial shows.

We did not get this cookware set before Christmas as promised, but that was ok because it was a gift to myself. We were reluctant to accept the package, because the outside box was very very damaged. It was shipped USPS. Luckily no pans were damaged. I haven't used all the pans yet, but the ones I have, I love. I love the non-stick surface, I can use less oils. And love the glass covers.

Estatic with Calphalon cookware

I was given a 10" and 12" skillet as a gift and I loved them so much that I convinced my husband to let me buy an entire set. I cook healthier meals because I don't have to add all the oils and butter to keep things from sticking. And I think the flavor of the food is so much better. We eat late in the evening and many times dishes sit overnight. And the clean-up is a breeze.

love the pans / hate the handles

How can I love these pans so much and still be cranky about them? I love the heat distribution, the weight, the evenness of cooking, the easy clean-up. I love the extra handle on the 3-qt & 4-qt saucepans. I love the glass lids-- they fit nicely, good weight, great to see what's happening in the pot. BUT-- Calphalon is stingy with the heat-resistant covering on the glass lid handles. The very first time I used my new pots, I burned the side of my finger when I lifted the lid, because the covering doesn't extend far enough down on the metal part of the lid handle. It should reach further down, closer to the attachment onto the glass. Same design problem with the extra handle on the larger sauce pans and Dutch oven. Extending the heat-resistant covering further down onto the metal would add only slightly to the cost. I consider this a significant kitchen safety flaw. Tsk, tsk.

I purchased these pans for my wife as a Christmas present. She is very pleased with the quality and different sizes that were included. I was pleased with the cost compared to purchasing each pan separately.

They are the best I have owned. I am sure there might be better ones out there, but these are by far the best I have found for the money spent.

Great cookware for the price

We are very happy with the new Calphalon cookware set, lots of pieces, including lids, great quality, even heating. It does take some care, but it's worth the effort to keep the pans in perfect condition.

Couldn't find quality, affordable non-stick pans. These are excellent! Happy early birthday to me!

short on capacity

The sauce and frying pans do not give true quart usage. Example - the 2 quart sauce pan will give you about 1.75 useful quarts before any stirring will put sauce over the top - same with 3 quart, covered 3 qt frying pan etc

amazing!

After buying other brands that claimed to be nonstick and were not because they were cheaper, I decided to give Calphalon a try. I am so happy I did. These pots are simply amazing.

Was very excited to receive the box containing the cookware. Was so disappointed after opening the box and unpacking all of the cook ware to find the largest pan had a large dent in the side.

Bought this set to replace a Calphalon set purchased 15 years ago. Was surprised the new cookware is made with significantly lighter gauge aluminum...to soon to have an opinion on how it holds up and performs.

This cookware was purchased as a wedding gift for a family member. I already have several pieces myself and am very pleased with the product and would recommend it to anyone

The only reason I did not rate this a 5 is because the outer surface scratches easily.

Caphalon

I have used caphalon pans in the past and prefer that brand to any other. I like the way food does not stick and the ease in cleaning.

Was a good purchase

The cookware is working out just great and I am personally verey proud of it all. However one item I am not happy with is that I can't use sprays on the pans to fry or saute food. I have to use butter or marg. and that adds caloties to my diet. Thanks for letting me give you this opinion. Betty Healy

New cook stove

I bought a new flat top stove and this cookware is fantastic on it. My daughter bought a set 8 years ago and told me to get a set. It took 8 years but this set is the best set I have ever owned.
