It arrived quickly, with no problems. All parts were there, fit well and operate well. It seems to be built quite sturdy so it looks like it should last for a while. Overall, I am pleased with it.

I have used several brands...Kitchenaid & Viking most recently. The Kitchenaid was good but not easy to keep clean and the Viking was poor in processing and trying to puree soups. This one is exceptional in all areas and allows me to get more kitchen work done in less time. A must for serious kitchen people.

So far I like this hand blender alot, seems powerful and pretty sturdy. When I was looking for a blender I didn't necessarily want a ton of different attachments but what I was hoping for was a plastic cover over the blades so that I could use the blender in my pots and pans with out worring about dammaging my cookware. This model has a detatachable blade with a metal cover and a detachable blade with a plastic cover which is really nice for use in nonstick and my ceramic coated cast iron dutch ovens as well. I will also say that the silcone lids that come for the measuring cup and the food processor are a nice touch. The only bad things that I can say are (and I would say they are minor):
Lots of attachments and buttons (I would prefer a more simple streamlined device)
Food processor is attachment works but doesnt give you the most consistant chop. It would be ok if I didn't own a seperate food processor. Its capacity is pretty small over all too.
I see no real need for the wisk attachement
I am not giving this product a 5 star rating for these few minor things but the major reason is I just haven't had enough time to know that the device will stand up to use over time in my kitchen.
DeLonghi Electric Hand Blender

I have been very pleased with the DeLonghi Electric Hand Blender. It is very easy to use and to clean up. The included containers make mixing and chopping a cinch to do and they, also, are easy to clean. Overall I am very satisfied with the hand blender.
