Since 1967, Nambé designers have been inspiring unique, often museum-quality, cookware that resembles art, handcrafted in its foundries high in the Sangre dè Cristo Mountains of Santa Fe. Made from a proprietary aluminum-based alloy, each exceptional piece is polished to resemble high-luster silver, although it does not contain silver. It also retains its temperature, much like cast iron, but does not contain iron or lead. Nambé is completely foodsafe, withstands freezer, oven, stovetop and grill temperatures, and makes a stunning yet functional serving piece that will never tarnish. To care for Nambé, hand wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly. No two pieces are exactly alike, and slight imperfections may occur due to the molding process and individual handcraftsmanship.
