With its compact dimensions (16.5 x 12-in.), this broiler pan slides right inside your oven. On top, place steaks, seafood or vegetables and let them broil. Underneath, another pan catches excess fat and oils; use it, too, for roasting, baking or toasting open-faced turkey and swiss sandwiches. The broiler pan has a nonstick surface so foods release easily without a messy cleanup.

Sorry I bought this.

The non-stick surface started coming off after only a few uses in spite of careful cleaning with a nylon scrubber. Now the food is stuck to the pan with no way to remove it without taking off more of the non-stick surface. The pan seems

The pan is a fabulous size - not as cumbersome as the pan that comes standard with the oven. The surface is easier to clean than the oven standard, although still not as easy as I hoped even with vegetable oil brushed across it. The other problem with the pan is that there are no instructions. I don't know if it's dishwasher safe. I don't know if there are any tips on cleaning the pan by hand. I don't know if the pan heats up differently than a standard broiler pan (in terms of adjusting cooking times).

Broiler Pan Review

by DIANE, FL

I was disappointed in the broiler pan that I received because it is not an easy clean-up. I have another one at my home in New York and find it very easy to clean-up. If it wasn't for that I think it is wonderful

After about 3 uses, charred bits of my steak stuck to the pan and could not be removed with soap and water.

Performed well. Lived up to it's non stick advertisement. Does stain with grease, which is hard to remove

So much easier to clean than the enamel broiler pans - takes only seconds! Just wish it were a little larger.

I choose the wrong review to believe!

Before I purchased thid brouler I read the mixed reviews. There are mamy people who do not use the right cleaning products, soI choose to believe that was why the finish was coming off. Well I was wrong. The non stick finish lasted less then a month when it started coming off. It is now in the trsash and has been be replaced by one manufactured by Wilton, which has no sharp edged as this pne did, is heavier and cost cost 20% less.

The fancy broiler

by Kay, OH
August 13, 2009

I needed a new broiler pan and the reviews sounded promising on this one. It does not clean up as promised. In fact with all the little pockets, it's somewhat harder to clean. I tried a baking spray to help with the clean up and it made it worse.

It's a bit lightweight for a broiling pan, but for the cost it is a good value and it cleans up nicely. Broiling pans are difficult to find and don't always come with a new stove anymore, so it was nice to finally find something!

unhappy

it was way too much money. i made the mistake of thinking i would get what i paid for. i expected a good heavy duty pan-that was really just one step up from a disposable aluminum. this quality of cookware sells at kmart for about 13 dollars.it is also very hard to clean due to poor design.i found later i could get one from g.e.-original eq. for my new stove for one third of the money.thank you for this chance to speak out

The first time I used this broiler pan, cleanup was a breeze. However with the 2nd use the non stick spray has become permanently stuck onto the surface in places where I did not have food on the pan. The pan did not come with recommendations not to use non stick spray so I was a little surprised when this happened. On the plus side, the drip tray is nice and deep and certainly can be used as a roasting pan as the description suggests.

This is a great little broiler pan. It's not as large as the standard broiler pans that come with the oven/range, but it's the perfect size for couples-sized meals. It easily did 12 lamb chops. Cleaned up like a DREAM, a swish of a sponge and a squirt of water. It's too early to judge how long-lasting it will be, but at this price, I'd buy one every year or two to keep the great non-stick coating.

Everyone should have this broiler pan. It is light weight, which helps me very much since I have arthritis in my hands and forearms.
I can rinse off any fat that has collected and get it clean in the dishwasher.
As I get older, more and more products that I have used for years, no longer are satisfactory for my use.
Thank you so much for making my life easier!

I've used this nonstick broiler pan and been amazed at how easily the pan cleaned up and how little the food even stuck to it. It has a finish as if it had a coating of oil on it which very little adheres to. I am very happy with this product.

Its fine, given that no one offers the big broiler pan with ovens any more. But I'd like the distance between the top (where the food sits) and the bottom to be a litle higher. But the size is right for the one or two steaks I want to broil without getting the whole oven-sized broiler out. I am surprised there are not more options for this out there.
