very heavyweight - cookies brown nicely and clean up in the dishwasher is a brease with absolutely no sign of rust or warping. burnt acorn squash came off easily. raised edges make it easy to stack pans crosswises for cooling or decorating cookies.

Best

I LOVE this pan, I have been looking for a pan that would not bend and warp when baking cookies etc. I thought maybe it was my own fault for not buying a more expensive and better brand. So I bought 2 of the expensive Calphalon Jelly Roll pans that said WILL NOT WARP, and the first time in the oven I heard the pop, looked in the oven and it was bent. Goes back flat when cool but bends every time used, I have used the Chicago Metallic pan several times now and not once has it warped, I WILL be buying another. One reviewer said she was not happy that it was changing color and getting dark spots. But it says in the instructions that it will do that in time. That’s OK with me, I just want it to lay FLAT and it does. I always use Silicone mats for baking cookies so I do not know about sticking. But it cleans up great when I use for other types of baking. I do not put the pan in the dishwasher but it cleans up very easy. For the price, this is a great deal.

It has performed just as I expected. It's the perfect size for my oven (which is smaller than most 'regular sized' ovens). No complaints whatsoever and I'm actually thinking about getting another one!

So Versatile!

I saw this reviewed on America's Test Kitchen on PBS as a kitchen must-have, so I ordered it, and I am glad I did because it comes in handy in many ways I did not expect. I might even make a jelly roll in it some day, who knows?

I already have 2 of these and bought one for my mom for Christmas. They are awesome. Well made, sturdy, strong and hold up well with baking. I looked specifically for this one as I know it was given a great review in Cook's Illustrated magazine. Well worth every penny.

All Chicago Metallic products are all great value for the price. IMO, quality is equal or superior to more expensive brand names with snob appeal but no greater real value. This product is a good size and weight, bakes perfectly, and, with proper care and use, cleans up easily. Worth the extra care to store vertically (like a tray) in the plastic cover it comes in.

I have several of the pans and they are my favorites. They are heavy, solid and don't warp with heat like the pans they replaced.

Best Pan Ever!

I bought one of these pans a month ago and fell in love with it. I use it for not only baking but for roasting vegetables and it does an amazing job time after time. I hand wash and hand dry this pan to keep it in best condition and was so thrilled I bought two more as gifts!

Great Pan. I use it as a cookie sheet. This is my second one - I needed another to maximize amount of cookies I can cook at once!

Really Heavy Duty Pan

by Dianne, WI
February 12, 2007

This is my 3rd one of these pans. It is exceptionally heavy weight. You need to reduce the temperature by 25 degrees because it conducts heat so well. Just be sure to dry it thoroughly or it will rust on the inside of the rolled edges.

Overall a nice pan

by Donna, MI
February 13, 2007

I have been pleased with the weight and sturdiness of this pan, and with its performance. Cookies seem to bake evenly, and slide right off with a spatula. I have been slightly disappointed that the pan has developed some spots that can't be removed. I'm not sure if they are rust or just discoloration, but they annoy me because one of the reasons I chose this pan was to have not only one that performs well, but that stays looking nice. I have never used it in the dishwasher, nor used hard cleaning substances on it (as recommended by the manufacturer), so I'm not sure what the problem is. It wipes off well enough with sudsy water, so it has not been soaked. My only thought is that I often let my pans drip-dry, and maybe the spots are rust that formed that way???

Great Product - Great Price!

by Vickie, FL
August 14, 2007

I could not be happier with this pan and I wish I had found it much sooner. I have thrown away a number of warped, cheapo jelly roll pans that were too small and made of thin dark material that lent to burning. This Chicago Metallic jelly roll pan is sturdy, heavy and large enough to fit my needs. I highly recommend this product. The quality and value is so great, you won't believe what a good deal you got.

A kitchen essential

by Joyce, IL
August 25, 2007

This pan is your standard commercial half sheet pan - the type found in professional kitchens. Furthermore, Chicago Metallic produces quality products at a great price and the commercial finish means that I don't have to worry about scratching a non-stick finish.
