the best tool in my kitchen

I have wanted one of these for several years. But with meat prices being what they are I finally decided it was time to give it a try. OMG! I only wish I had gotten it sooner. I can now buy cheaper (might I added better tasting) cuts of meat and they are still tender and yummy.

Meat Tenderizer

I just love this meat tenderizer. I've tried several others in the past, but none have been as good as the jaccard. I would recommend this to all of my friends. It is a great item.

Does this meat tenderizer work?

I have used this tenderizer on many different cuts of meat but have found that it really does nothing to tenderize. The meat does cook more quickly. However, a poor cut of meat will always be a poor cut of meat. Also, this device is difficult to clean and extremely sharp! I have learned to just invest more in a better cut of meat or in more time to cook a lesser cut.

A great tenderizer

I've had one of these for some years and absolutely love it, especially on pork chops, as they are so dense. I bought this one for a friend.

This item is expensive compaired with others on the market, but the Made in USA quality almost surpasses the higher price. A very usefull kitchen tool.

Using this tenderizer allows us to buy meat from a grocery store instead of a specialized meat market and still enjoy good, tender steak! We gladly will recommend this to anyone!

I should have purchased the 2 or 3 blade row models, would have simplified the process.

Quick and simple

This method of tenderizing and being able to add just the right flavor to all your meats, poultry and fish is a darn sight better than beating the heck out of dinner (it is already dead after all)!

Works great. Did a great job on a cheap piece of steak.

The tenderizer works pretty well. I wish I had gotten one with more blades in it though.

This is the fourth one I have bought. I liked mine so well that I bought one for my daughter and one for a friend and one for my brother. We all love it.

This blade tenderizer works much quicker than getting out the traditional mallet tenderizer. Very easy to use.

I never knew that a tool like this was available until I saw Emeril using one on his show recently. I have used it many times and am very pleased. Will probably order more to give as gifts.

I just purchased this second needler for a friend, who has 3 others that just do not stickit. This made in USA product beats them all for use and durability. Go for quality in cooking!

Very Pleased

I am very pleased with Jaccard's meat tenderizer and will have to have one in the kitchen from now on. However, I am very displeased with the bombardment of email solicitation I received from the Food Network Store after buying my product thru their site.

I like the product a lot, but if I had it to do over, I would buy the one with 48 blades. I was tenderizing a large number of chops and thought my arm would drop off before I finished The 48 blade device would have made my job a lot easier.

Works very well but takes a long time to do several pices of meat, the 48 blade would be much quicker if it had much stronger springs to retract the blades.
