Wonderful Product

It really works well. Easy clean up. I am a 5-6 cup a day tea drinker. This works well with teas bags or loose tea.

My favorite kitchen toy!

This is my second purchase of this product - in fact, I liked the first one so much that I bought 3 more! I'm going to keep one at home, one at the office and have two as quick last minute gifts. It makes great tea in minutes and is a breeze at cleanup. I love this product!

I like this product. It works well and is easy to operate. It's exciting to have such a clear view of a process hidden for centuries in conventional teapots. If I'm drinking both cups however, I find myself draining the pot into a second teacup so my tea doesn't get too strong. Brewing for two...works great.

awesome ingenuiTEA

by Helena, KS
January 5, 2009

I gave it to my grandmother and she loves it. It's lite enough for her to carry (she''s 94) and she can use it in the microwave.

I really like how it pees tea.

She likes that she can make the perfect amount of tea. Enough for 3 or enough for just her. And making a second pot is easy. It is also easy to clean and is even dishwasher safe.

This is a cool product. I gave her one, and now I want one for myself.

The instructions for use are TOO simplistic. You need a little more information to use, even if it's just an estimated time to microwave. The concept of filling your tea cup from the bottom of the pot is unique, and so far has worked well. I'm not a big fan of heating water in the microwave for anything because it doesn't hold the heat long and even with the lid down the water doesn't stay hot very long.

Enjoy your loose leaf tea more often

by Nicolette, OH
April 15, 2007

I actually had used one of these teapots at a restaurant, and I thought it was the coolest idea ever. I always have a lot of loose leaf tea that I don't use as much as I'd like b/c I don't have a very convenient way to serve it. This tea pot is the perfect solution. It's not made out of glass, so I don't have to worry about breaking it, and it's very reasonably priced compared to a lot of the glass teapots. I really like that it's see-through, so I can enjoy flowering teas in it, too. It's very easy to clean and even comes with a little base, so you don't spill tea on the table. I really love it, and I'm very glad I got it.

Best tea brewer

by tarit, CA

Great coffee and tea brewer. I have been familiar with this product for the past few years but could never find it in the US. (first bought and used it in Thailand). Now that I have found them, I have been using it at my cafe for the past month. It has been such a conversation piece for customers and staff alike. Someone likes it so much that they walked away with one. If you are that person reading this, please return it to us in Seal Beach.

Great product...

by Darlene, CA
March 16, 2009

I love this thing. I bought one for myself and another for a friend and we both love them. I'd been using a wire mesh tea ball, but it was really too small for my 16 oz. mug. I ended up with weak tea every time and it was disappointing. Problem solved and clean-up is a breeze. I've had it for 3 weeks now and I'd buy it again.

Simply THE most amazing update on the teaball ever. I am an avid loose tea drinker and there isn't anything better. Its simple to use and clean, never clogs, the base keeps my desk/counter neat. The lid really fits snugly, allowing the leaves to steep fully. This is my third purchase, my friends and family keep stealing mine! At this price, its a complete steal - especially considering how many teaballs I have bought over the years that lasted a month or two. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who loves tea.

I love my dispensing teapot. It is a good substitue for something else I was looking for and cant find. It is good for only 2 cups of tea which is not good for a party of more than 2. I love the way it collects the leaves and I can reuse the leaves for a 2nd pot since I dont drink very strong tea.

If you're a tea drinker, this is a must-have!

by Lauren, CA

Usually I do two separate paragraphs, a positive and a negative - but there is absolutely nothing negative about this Adagio product! It's dishwasher safe, it's not too big, it keeps my tea scorching hot while the leaves steep and clean-up is a breeze. It's literally the perfect cup of tea. After I bought it I bought 3 more: One for home and two as

Excellent Buy

Works great, small filter holes work great at keeping the tea leaves from getting to my mouth! Very convenient. I bought one for home, then bought two more, one for work and one for my mother-in-law!

Easy and perfect tea

by Joleen, MI
August 31, 2010

I have used the ingenuiTEA for years. I have a couple of them. They brew enough tea for a large mug. The only thing that keeps it from being perfect is that fact that the hinge wears out over time. The little knobs tend to break off and the lid no longer closes properly. The original ingenuiTEA had a different lid and filter. It brewed more slowly, but the lid has never broken on it. I still have my original teapot and wish the new ones would go back to the old style lid.

Adagio Teapot

by Josephine, IL
January 4, 2012

I saw this teapot on America's Test Kitchen. It was rated the best and a good value.

I bought it as a Christmas present the Saturday before Christmas. It arrived two days early without any additional shipping cost.

My cousin loves it and I cannot wait to buy one for myself!

This is a wonderful product. I prefer to use the microwave for heating water for tea (I have burned a few traditional tea kettles by forgetting them on the stove), but water heated in a cup tends to boil over. This teapot has a top to prevent boilovers, and makes excellent tea using loose leaves. (You can also use tea bags if you prefer). I love it that I can just place the teapot on top of the cup, dispense the tea into the cup, then dump the leaves into the trash without making a mess. I use it daily.

Good Tea Infuser /w Removable Nylon Mesh

by Shaun, SC
February 11, 2007

Good infuser for competitive price. Pretty convenient for making
one or two servings of hot tea.

Pros:
Plenty of room for loose tea to infuse
Fairly inexpensive
Sturdy Plastic Design
Fine Nylon Mesh Filter
Microwaveable, too, if you like.

Cons:
Cleaning takes a little longer than guywan
or sasame mesh teapot (but the nylon filter is finer)
It makes only one or two servings, but you knew that.

Quick and Easy tea and clean up!

by Vicki, KY
December 14, 2007

I love my ingenuiTea Dispensing Teapot!! It is so easy to microwave the water add the loose tea and fill my cup. The biggest bonus is the easy clean up of the loose tea. Just turn it upside down over the trash and shake out the leaves. The teapot also comes apart for easy cleaning.
I bought two....one for my daughter in law for Christmas...I can hardly wait to give it to her. She hates using her metal tea ball but loves drinking tea.
