I am very partial to stoneware and Pfaltzgraff is one of the best. Now I did notice that these plates seem to get hotter than I expected in the microwave and the large dinnerplate is really large and doesn't fit in my upper cupboard but was not a problem for me to switch those to the bottom cupboard.
