Prepare homemade French bread with a crispy crust and a soft, fluffy interior using the Chicago Metallic 16 x 8-in. Professional Nonstick Perforated French Bread Pan and make everyday meals more enjoyable. The 16-inch pan holds two elongated breads that are the ideal shape and size for making classic ham and butter sandwiches or for slicing to place atop a bowl of French onion soup. The perforated design also encourages air flow, which promotes even browning. The pan sides fold up to enclose the sides of the bread as it bakes, so you get a consistently uniform, rounded loaf every time you use it. Constructed of heavy-gauge steel, the pan holds up to high heat conditions without warping or bending, and it has a SilverStone nonstick surface that makes cleaning simple. A 25-year manufacturer's warranty gives you added confidence that this pan will serve you well for years to come. Best Used For: In addition to using this French bread pan when preparing homemade loaves like those found in Parisian boulangeries, we also use it for heating frozen loaves of garlic bread when we're preparing an Italian-style dinner. It's also great for long sourdough, ciabatta and gluten-free loaves. Features:
  • Perforated design sends heated air all the way around the bread to cook it evenly on all sides
  • Heavy-gauge steel construction ensures that the pan is durable enough for daily use
  • Elongated design can be used with extra-long baguette-style loaves
  • Double-tray design lets you bake two loaves at once
  • Cleaning & Care: Handwashing Recommended
  • Material: Heavy Gauge Steel with Nonstick
  • Origin: China
  • Size/Capacity: 16 x 8 x 3-in
  • Warranty: 25-yr

  • I bought this product as a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law, a woman who loves to bake. Even with all the kids gone, she bakes cookies, bread and makes treats; then sells them at her office to coworkers. She loves the bread pan and has already used it twice. She reports, "I love the fact that the bread pan holds the shape of a 'loaf' instead of raising flat across the cookie sheet that I used to use. The bread has a more uniform shape. Also, the clean-up is something to get excited about -- the finish of the bread pan comes sparkling clean with the swipe of the dish cloth, --no baked-on hard spots.....and I love it that you don't have to clean dough out all of the little holes with a toothpick like you have to on our old pizza sheet. I hadn't greased the bread pan first as my recipe didn't say to, and it didn't stick to the finish. I hope to bake bread more often now." It's great to have purchased a gift for her that she truly enjoys and will use often!

    I recommend this product.

  • Nonstick French Bread Pan

I purchased the pan to bake gluten-free french bread. I didn't have to line the pan w/ foil, and my bread turned out very nice... much better than when I would try to shape the loaf on a sheet pan. It is a very useful addition to a gluten-free baker's kitchen... I'm glad I purchaed it.

    I recommend this product.

  • Great piece of cookware

I tried to use a stone to get a crisp crust on my French an Italian breads, but this nonstick baggett pan gave me what I was looking for. It also kept loose dough from flattening out so the loves were more rounded. There was no sticking at all and the browning was even all around

    I recommend this product.

  • As good as the baguette pan

Bought this to make big fat baguettes (French bread). Tried it with a Ciabatta recipe and it worked awesome. Non-stick, great performance.

  • Performs as I expected. I'd like the pan to also be offered in a longer length so you can bake loave closer to true French baguettes. Admittetly, the real loaves do not fit a standard Amerian home oven, but I'd have bought a 20" size instead of 16" were one available.

    I recommend this product.

  • Second one of the perforated bread pans we have purchased. First one was the smaller size. This one will let us opt for a larger size loaf. Great results. Don't have to worry about the shape of the loaves.

  • Great Pan

I love this pan! I make homemade bread and the other pans just didn't give me the beautiful crust this one does. I don't really wash it I just wipe it out and use it again. Have never had a problem with it sticking. This is my second one I like to make 4 loaves at a time.
    GREAT PRODUCT !!!!!

    I recommend this product.

  • French Bread Pan

This is the best bread pan I have. It browns the loaf on all sides. My first loaf I tried in this pan was dark German rye. The texture was like a bakery shop. This pan was worth the money.

  • I've used the pan several times now and it browns the bread and released it very well. The shape of the bread, however, comes out wider on top and narrower at the bottem which I'm not wild about, but the taste of the bread produced is exceptional.

    I recommend this product.

  • I am happy with this

I bought this with the purpose of baking bigger loaves of bread than I could with the 3 tray baguette pan.
It does bake larger loaves that come out very nice and delicious.
The only problem I have is if you put dough that is too soft into the tray, it will tend to ooze through the holes,
So I would recommend one of two things. You can either lay parchment down in the pan prior to putting the dough in it.
Or you can wait til you're just about ready to put the loaves in the oven and then put them in the pan and then just transfer it into the oven. I tend to do the second method more often because I find parchment paper makes too much a mess in my oven.

    I recommend this product.

  • french bread pan

was not curved up on the sides like the last ones I bought. My husband had to try to curve up the sides to hold up the bread while rising so the dough didn't fall over the edge.
