A very Hi quality product. Cookware has good weight and yet distributes heat evenly. Pots pour well without dribbling. They clean up well after use. Selection of items including steramer and pasta cooker is terrific. Customs agent was blown away by price/quality and quantity. After a few weeks of use, wife is still ecstatic.

    Great product

I finally invested in a great set of pots & pans. I have followed the directions for cleaning and have not had any problems. I did however, but the stainless cleaner becauase our water left a residue and especially when cooking with ingredients with starches it left a film. I did have to start using more oils &/or butter so the food doesn't stick, but it was very easy to clean. These also work great in the oven. This is the only set that I have found able to handle the heat.

    Nice product

    by Juan, TX
    November 27, 2009

I received my shipment in a timely manner. I have used just about every piece in the set and am very pleased with the overall performance of the cookware. The only problem, (which may be for some), is that the cookware spots on the interior after initial use. Maybe it has something to do with the water here but each piece after use and cleaning has spots that appeared in the bottom on the interior. I would still recommend the cookware if you can get past that little problem.

    Just a thought...

While having good tools is no assurance of achieving good cooking results - it can certainly help make the task of cooking somewhat easier. The Cusinart set appears to do the job. I have not had as yet occasion to use all of the cooking items. But, the ones that I have used thus far have worked farely well. One item to note is the need to understand the heating requirements when using this cookware - you just do not need as high heat that may have been necessary in using other cookware. This set really maintains and distributes the heat well when the heating is controlled properly. Second, always immediately after cooking let the cookware soak in detergent warm water before cleaning. Doing that simple step will enable very quick and thorough cleaning...

    Performance and Value!

    by Michael, CO
    February 14, 2008

A great looking and easy to use and maintain cookware set. I bought this set due to a strong recommendation from my favorite chef, my mother -- I imagine she could afford All-Clad if she wanted -- who has been using Cuisinart stainless steel for years. Even heating and balance are a couple of standout characteristics. Don't obsess about interior scratching; even wood and silicon utensils will leave marks no matter how gently you cook. For the interiors, I recommend Bon Ami as an everyday cleaner and Bar Keepers Friend for stubborn stains or any discoloration. For the exteriors, hot water, soap, and a sponge keep this cookware beautiful! Bon appétit.

The pots and pans were a great buy IF you are domiciled in the United States. I found that the added cost of customs duties and taxes and the very expensive handling and mailing charges brought the price of the pots and pans to almost double the sale price. Perhaps you could consider having a

    Worth every penny

    by Peter, NY
    September 6, 2008

First I'm no gourmet cook. I've been making do with odds and ends cookware for years. They worked, but cooking wasn't very pleasant and results were mediocre. I've found that this product works so well that now I cook much more than I have in the past, and I do so with much better results. For anyone wondering if the saucepan lids fit the skillets, as I did, they do. The heat distributes evenly when cooking so I don't the the hot spots on the pans that I would normally have, admittedly due in part to carelessness. This cookware cleans easily. One complaint is that, to avoid scratching the glossy surfaces, plastic utensils are pretty much essential. Soon, I'll be back to spending real time cooking major entrees that I used to years ago. I'd give this cookware a 5 star rating, but nothing is perfect. Furthermore, you should factor in _my_ cooking skills--I'm a 4 star cook at best.

    Cookware

    by Judith, SC
    March 9, 2009

After using Farberware for 30+ years and growing quite a collection, it was time for a replacement. I was looking for something of quality and with the pieces I was accustomed to and knew that I used over and over. I had purchased Calphalon set for my daughter a few years ago, but it was not what I wanted. I don't like nonstick coatings (perhaps due to bad experiences in the 1970s). I love this set by Cuisinart. I really wanted the larger stock pot. The pasta insert is especially great. While I have not yet used the largest skillet or the steamer, I am pleased with the weight and feel of all the other pieces and it cleans up beautifully.

If you are looking for cookware you can't go wrong with this set!

My First Stainless Cookware & I Love It!

    by Sandra, AL
    September 25, 2009

I have used the no-stick coated cookwear for well over 30 years. I have always wanted to try stainless and after all these years....finally.... decided to take the plunge. I looked at different brands, and sets, and found this set online at the Betty Crocker store. I read the customer reviews and decided that this was the one I wanted. Once I decided on this brand and set I then priced shopped my local stores as well as on online and Betty Crocker had the best price for this brand and particular 17 piece set. I love this cookwear! I like how you use a low heat setting when cooking with it and I have had no problem with clean up. I do not have a dishwasher and do the dishes myself. I wash up as I cook, so as soon as I get something completed and into the serving dish, the pan goes into the sink as the manufacturer recommends. Also, I have a small kitchen and storage space is limited. This cookwear has allowed me to get rid of all of my other pots, pans and skillets and I have actually now acquired more space! A complete 17 piece set, a well known name brand, stainless, a lifetime warranty, energy saving (cooks over a low heat), easy to use and clean and at a great price ($249).....I highly recommend this set of cookwear!

    Great set of cookware!

    by Susan, NY
    May 5, 2008

After doing quite a bit of comparison shopping, I ordered and received this set about a month ago to replace a 15 yr. old set of Farberware pots. I absolutely love this it! They are very well made and cook evenly. They clean up very easily with soap and water; if you have any hard to remove spots, just using Barkeepers' Friend cleans it right up. I recommend this set to anyone looking for a well-made set with all the different pieces you'll ever need at a great price.

    Wonderful product

    by Bruce, VA
    January 11, 2009

When the manufacturer reccommends that you not use metal utensils in their pots, they mean it! I accidentally forgot and used a wire whisk for less than 30 seconds, when I suddenly remembered, and immediately switched to a plastic one. Unfortunately, the damage was done. I now have some nice scratches on the finished bottom of one pan. Another word of caution, when the lid is on the pot for an extended period of time, the lid handle will get hot. Othewise, the pans work great and the finish and workmanship are truly beautiful. I am vey pleased!

    Fantastic Product for the Price

    by Deborah, IL
    November 1, 2008

Paying $249 plus a bonus knife, bonus cutting boards (you have to send knife and cutting board rebate forms in together with receipt, etc. within the deadline) and free shipping was a deal I could not refuse! This is my first Cuisinart cookware set and also my first experience ordering cookware by mail. NormaIly I like to examine what I buy before purchase, but now I am hooked! I have only had my 17-pc cookware for a few weeks and have had no problems whatsoever. It's so amazing how fast and evenly the heat distributes and I cook on low or medium only. I followed all of the instructions, especially on use how to care for them after use. I plan to buy another set for my vacation home. I would recommend this set to anyone because you get more for your money over the smaller sets and so far I don't need anymore individual pieces.

    Really nice Cookware

    by Dolores, WV
    November 23, 2008

I bought Cuisinart cookware for the first time and am really impressed with the way they heat up fast and cook foods evenly. The first time I used one of my saucepans, I made brown rice in it and it left some tiny black spots on the inside bottom of the pan. I called Cuisinart and they told me to go out and buy a stainless steel cleaner called

    Love my new cookware!

    August 24, 2009

Before buying a new set of cookware, we researched many brands and decided to buy the Cuisinart stainless steel set. We are very pleased with the look and perfomance of all the pots, even though the bottoms show heat spots from frying or sauteeing after cleaning. We feel that they were a great value as well!

    September 26, 2007

I bought this product after a lot of research. It is a fantastic value. It is a little lightweight opposed to the mulitclad, but a great product. I am not sure I would notice the difference in my everyday cooking. It cleans and washes up beautifully which is a must for me as a busy Mom. I also love the various sizes in this set. A great set, not too much else one would need. Great purchase! Great price! Great Value!
