So far so good with this set. I have only used a few, but they are decently sharp and sturdy. Did have an issue with thin slices sticking to the knife, but was able to slice thinly with ease. Didn't come with kitchen shears, but not really a necessity, which is why I choose this set. Great value for the money

These were a gift, so I have never used them. However, my son says they work great.

If you want the best knife available, buy this one. This is a lifetime knife in quality and style. I was also amazed at the price! I have looked at these knives for years and some places you can pay this for just one knife, here you get 17! I was also impressed with how easy and quick the Food Network Store was. Ordering was easy and I got them a day early. Next time I need kitchen items, i will come here 1st!

Nice set and very sharp, was not expecting the knifes to be light as I like my heavy knifes it will be good for those that likes it light in weigh the quality is fear and very sharp, also received a free set of stake knifes which was great. overall they are a great looking set and will recommend them to those that likes light wieght knifes.

Great Deal!

I put these on my wedding registry in a B&M store, but didn't receive them. I went on Cooking.com to grab a Caphalon pan that we didn't get and saw the knives we wanted, even cheaper than they were in the store.

For the price, the quality of the knives are fantastic. I never realized how awful my Farberware set was until using these! I would recommend this set to anyone who is wanting replace that old cheap set with a very good quality set for under a hundred dollars.

Nice knives

My daughter wanted a set of nice kitchen knives for Christmas. I had never owned anything very decent myself. So I ordered 2 sets! We are both very happy with the knives, and the way they handle and feel.

This is a great set!! Maybe not culinary genius level knives but an amazing improvement from the mis/match set we had before... very very good bargain and they are fantastic for the average people who like cooking for 2 or small family.
